Do you need to do a complex geometric 3D design in AutoCAD but do not want to go deep into a time-consuming surface modeling tool? While Inventor and Fusion 360 have Freeform modeling, in AutoCAD they have mesh modeling. In mesh modeling, you can do a complex shape in a matter of time.
You can reshape mesh objects by smoothing, creasing, refining, and splitting faces. You can also drag edges, faces, and vertices to mold the overall form. Once finished, you can then convert this deformed mesh back into a solid or surface model.
In this free online lesson, you will learn the capability of mesh in AutoCAD and how it can help you create complicated designs faster. We will show you the function of the mesh tools as well as an example model that can be created using these tools.
