You know, the guys who's holy book drove Duncan a little (more) insane by just reading it even though he couldn't even properly understand it yet; The guys who are obsessed with warp and reaching the Eldritch realm, a place that, if you go there, will slowly drive you insane (if you can survive). Than again, Sjin broke the obsidian totem which could have leaked flux. That would mean that Strawfingers' head is a totem built by people who are obsessed with going insane (try to wrap you head around that one) and than fluxed, making him a warped flux monster with a tendency for Thaumcraft. Need proof? In the last cut scene including the "purple knight" , aka. strawfingers, he is seen wearing CRIMSON CULT robes, you know, the robes of the warp obsessed madmen. These robes give a warp side effect, increasing your warp levels while you are wearing them.
This is straight from the wiki on Chocobos: "Purple Chocobos have longer legs, avoid fall damage, run as quickly as White and Black Chocobos, are immune to fire, and can cross lava, They also give Fire Resistance to the player while the player is riding the Purple Chocobo. Although they can also fly, they cannot fly as quickly as Gold, Pink, and Red Chocobos." Side note: I was wondering when (if ever) Duncan would notice their massive supply of gold nuggets.

If you want to get the egg, make sure to put it in a enclosed space so the egg doesn't fly into the portal, place a regular piston (non sticky) next to it, and place something to activate the piston. It turns the egg into an item that you can pick up. Just make sure not to right click the egg, or it will teleport away.
I thought Duncan was fluxed because of how long they spent nuking his old castle? Kim's flux seemed to have spread significantly after that, and given the fact that the fluxed node was likely what caused the taint to spread over the entirety of the castle, you would think that Duncan would be hearing Mother too, though maybe not as loud?
+Knight_Peculiar I find this quite incorrect. Duncan CAN hear mother. He stated in Flux Buddies 1 He was started to hear motherly voices. So I think in this case, that mother whoever she is, only wanted Kim at the moment.
Banjo Wafer We're only using the term "flux" because Duncan and Kim were corrupted by negative thaumic energies before warp was a thing, and whatever's happening to Kim, it's definitely not warp. Warp can make you paranoid (sure as hell does that to me), but it doesn't really alter your mental state past that, and definitely doesn't make you sing nursery rhymes all creepily like Kim does whenever she encounters a tainted area.
Just like to add, Thaumcraft 4 DOES have an Eldritch boss which is essentially giant Taintacles. If they're really going to go along with this Mother story arc, they really gotta include it.

A) The Draconic armor makes you pretty much invincible, not even /kill will work on you with a full set. The Mod creator did everything he could to make the armor super OP B) You can make the red hearts by putting the yellow ones into a crafting table

With this new and *AMAZING* Draconic Weapon they should dig out like some big long tunnels deep under there base, hidden from enemies it's the best place to keep the computer and important stuff.
