I use mineral oil, but I don't know about other ppl. If it's a helmet then don't use anything with a strong scent (like WD40) since you'll be breathing that in every time you wear it
@@timothyhines6220 Aha... i see! Mineral oil! And also, pretty sure WD-40 is both for removing VISIBLE rust as well as degreasing, but it might not be able to act as a "protection barrier" for the tempered steel. Thank you for the answer!
