Hi thank you so much! I will work on making more videos about alpacas. Males and females cannot be kept together because they will breed and the male will harass the female. Unlike other animals, alpacas do not have a heat cycle. They will actually ovulate in the presence of a male. If kept with a male they will ovulate immediately and become pregnant. Once they are pregnant the male will continue to try to breed with them and this can cause a miscarriage.

Most all other farms feed more copper than I do. I'm assuming you've been told that goat food has more copper? Dont take someone at their word. Read the bags. Alpaca food has more copper than some goat feeds.

+tal miz they can make good therapy animals if they have a lot of training and the personality for it since they need to be able to have lots of people petting them. They are more difficult to have as therapy animals because they need a trailer to be transported and since they are large they might have difficulty going into some hospital rooms. But I have seen a few of them online going into hospitals and nursing homes and of course the patients seem to really like it because it's something different. Do you volunteer with Therapy animals?
I have a llama named Banjo and 2 alpacas named puff and fluff. Two pig hunting dogs ran across the property and tried too kill puff. But Banjo killed the smaller and faster one and broke the bigger dogs leg. :)
Yes they feel very good to have all the hair taken off. When was the last time you had your teeth cut down? If they had teeth like us humans, they wouldn't be getting shaved down.

Not a lot of space, just enough room to run. A quarter acer would be good
