Great info. As a beginner pilot still working my way through the "Sim" stage (and owning a FMS ranger 850) this has helped and improved my sim flying immensely. Hopefully be out on the flying field very soon. Many thanks
Thank you for the great video content you always put out. Question! How do you wire the digital VTX into the airplane so you can fly it FPV. Any advice would be most helpful. I am really into flying fixed wing and would love to try this.
Can you use the oculus to link up to the camera and fly it that way? Or is it only viewable after it’s down loaded? Thanks for the cool video and definitely keep them coming.
If the plane doesn’t fly straight and level, there are trim levers on the transmitter that let you adjust how the plane flies with the sticks at center.
Do you have to belong to a club. I live in the UK ...plenty of quiet places near me. However, I do fully understand your point. Thnx for the etiquette reminder.
It would be nice if someone actually did a series of how to advance thru the flight modes. Alot of information out there on how to fly but none really on the how toos for advancement.. Like beginners to intermediate to expert.. I'm having a hell of a time tryin to get out of beginners mode with my habu..
I recently bought a FMS Cessna 182 Skylane 1500mm and crashed in 10 seconds after takeoff. I thought being a RAA pilot with 150 hours of flying experience that rc planes would be easy to fly. I was wrong. I fixed the rc plane and tried again. I was taxiing and a gust of wind lifted the plane when I wasn’t ready for it and the plane crashed and caught on fire. So I bought another FMS Cessna 182 and I tried again this morning. I fly for half a football oval before I lost control and crashed. I wouldn’t call the FMS Cessna 182 Skylane 1500mm rc plane a beginner plane. It is easier to fly real planes than an rc plane. I will have to rebuild the rc plane and try again only from now on , I will not fly without a gyro flight stabiliser. If you are new to rc plane’s and buy a FMS Cessna 182 Skylane 1500mm , don’t fly it without a gyro flight stabiliser. The plane is very sensitive and it doesn’t take much to lose control. Everything happens very quickly.
Thank you for the great information

How do you even set the trim and which stick were you using for throttle?

What's trim ?
what is "Trim"?
A important part of plane

That's not a suitable place to fly. You should use a larger field without people, vehicles, and poles everywhere..

@@txkflier Please stop looking for faults. Good guy this one.
@@markandrew1067 You can’t fly an RC plane anywhere you want. Go to a club field or fly from your own property. Don’t be a nuisance to non-flyers.

@@markandrew1067 In the US, you must use a Remote ID unit if you’re not flying at a club field. Clubs generally have a “FRIA”..
