John Wayne and Lane Chandler share an onscreen chemistry, and while Yakima Canutt is generally remembered as a premiere stuntman, he was also a pretty good actor. All of the Duke's Lone Star westerns are underrated and deserve to be properly restored.

It could have used a soundtrack. Maybe they relied on the theater organ? Anyways, I like how the film abruptly ends with someone shouting "Shut Up".
