The edge is delicate on a true scandi but if you want better edge stability and still get the benefits of the geometry, a secondary micro bevel of 25 degrees will help the d2. I have this knife f12 and with an angled pocket clip, it’s great to carry in the pocket. Ps I watch your videos with the subtitles.
So I did that cut test on rope with the bevel of 25 degrees on this knife and I was disappointed that it only marginally performed better than Condor 1095 on 10 or so cuts while Flissa d2 did between 30 and 40. I know they are different grinds and thickness on the edge but a cut test is significant. I have a suspicion that their d2 is on the soft side.
@@michaelwaldeck7081 It is a Scandi, woodworking edge... compare it with other Scandi if you wish or in another area. Don't expect it to cut ropes or other things other than wood (that is its habitat)... and you must understand, different edges for different materials (I have demonstrated this many times)
