Going through the comment section I noticed that no one else as mentioned the River Lethe so I thought that I would mention it since I find it really interesting. Greek mythology plays a decent role in an Enhypens storyline and they seem to mix old Greek mythology with modern day occult mythology (ie. Vampires). Now in Greek mythology the River Lethe which is also referred to as Lesmisyne was one of the five rivers of the underworld of hades. This river is also known as the Amelēs potamos which translates to the river of unmindfulness. Lethe literally means oblivion.The Lethe flowed around the cave of Hypnos and throughout the Underworld bordering Elysium which is the final resting place of the virtuous. The shades of the dead were required to drink the waters of the Lethe in order to forget their earthly life. It is only when the dead have had their memories erased by the Lethe that they may be reincarinated.
Now this would make sense for them to mention Lethe because they obviously do not want to be vampires and are begging for their powers to be taken away even if it means death. Since they were vampires they would go to the underworld when they die, leading them to probably believe that if they get to the underworld they can drink from the River Lethe and forget about the agony of their past lives as vampires and become reincarinated as a way to start all over. Sunoo represents a fallen angel as he obviously was the one with wings and was seen falling from the sky. This would make sense because Sunoo has always been rumored to be the first one who became a vampire and later bit the rest of the members, leading them to follow Sunoo into the underworld leaving that heavenly place.
Anyways I thought that I would share this because I find it really interesting especially because some people may only look at their concept and are like “oooh sexy vampire concept” When in actuality their storyline is a true depiction of the hell and agony that being a vampire would cause for a person. Adding Greek mythology and struggle to the concept of vampires is so unique and interesting and I think that is why they have one of my favorite storylines in this industry.

The white ball Jungwon is holding may represent the Moon & him protecting Princess Selene…as Selene is the goddess of the Moon in Greek mythology. Princess Selene was re-incarnated as Sooha….and Sooha may represent Engene, in the parallel story of the boys as idols.

Hi, i am back. Good reaction, ty. Wow what an MV. Talk about images. Very pretty and cool. They all sounded good. I was not sure if i liked the song on my 1st listen. After 3 relistens i like it now =0p. Had to get used to the new rhythm. Great visuals. I was thinking the white wings and white clothes represent innocence and that was lost because they wore black later on and the wongs turned black. Also, Ni-ki and Heesung were wearing priest clothes. U didn't mention it but it might have significance. Shrugs. I have not read the webtoon yet but plan too. Hugs. -NY USA 2019 Army 💟
P.S. Anitra did u hear 7 Fates Chakho last season is back. It's the BTS webtoon. They ending that webtoon story. I hope they make an anime from it. Some of the MVs for it already look like it would be a cool anime.

I decided to rewatch the mv without the subs (and without thinking of the webtoon either), just to take in the visual storytelling. Overall the storyline looks like at one time they were at the highest state of perfection and even though that state ends up getting flawed, they still wonder if they deserve salvation/paradise. The highest state of perfection would be represented by white wings and from here we can see that white is purity/perfection and black is impurity/imperfection. Taking in consideration at least the title of the song - Sacrifice, I can assume that they could have been sacrificing, not themselves, but their purity (hence the black feathers, stains, black heart) for a greater good.
And even going up the stairs, isn't a regular walk up but actually crawling. Crawling suggests humbleness but also it gives a sense of - I want to be saved but do I really deserve this or am I worthy enough? I'll also add one bit about the lyrics - the river Lethe that is represented throughout the video. The River Lethe is a part of Greek mythology where it was one of the five rivers of the underworld and if someone drank from it, they would forget completely. Lethe and its water is represented by an actual river, a cup with liquid and even a table that's literally filled with water. The sacrifice itself seemed to come from actually drinking the water from Lethe and forgetting who they were before. But as memories were returning to them, they wanted to get back to where they were originally were
