I like strong, caring, loving women in series, I hate fragile, wining, weak, childish, evil, jealous female characters the most. A good writer can write a great story, romcom, without characters like I've mentioned above. I saw series like that that many times. K and C, mostly K series. Why do many Chinese writers still use such characters?? Same old same old, behhh. Not good enough in storytelling I think. Or do they believe that viewers like that? WRONG, read comments. Just my humble opinion though.

There are many things off about this, but I'm going by directing problems, not the cast. Not a good start, but doesn't mean it'll be bad... But I absolutely hate when I see an animal in a Chinese drama, knowing how they're treated. Just to act that horrible scene out, the Chinese (who never seem to have respect for any animals even when they're portrayed in such a light) had to have the ML grab that small dog's hind leg and hang it into the air (for who knows how many takes) and that will do permanent damage. Who knows if they really dropped it from such a height, too. It's okay for a human, but not an animal, especially one so weak and small. Even when you take care of a dog really well, thanks to evil people in society throughout the generations, the dogs will always have a crap-ton of problems (cancer and joint issues being high on the list). I can see what the animals have to go through at a minimum for these useless scenes, and it's obvious animal abuse. How come no one else realises nor cares?
