If a seller had a $1000 sticker for card with $300 market value, i’m not even bother to ask
Damn that one seller has no idea how comps work. Even after you showed him the most recent comps he tried to say a more recent one was much higher. Not only was he so high but also kept denying it. No chance he sold anything that day if he priced stuff like that.
Yeah he def seems fresh to the game if that's how he's going about his business. I'm sure he will get on the right track once he realizes he can't be unrealistic & money hungry/greedy.
That is what's wrong with the hobby, it's about business and money no more joy of collecting like it use to everyone is always trying buy cards at 60%-70% of comps and then sell at 85% of comps and when people don't want to sell they get mad

@@PyroMafia262 I mean the business side will always be a part of the hobby. Breakers (which you can say are some of the greediest in the hobby), have been breaking since like the early 2000s. It’s just up to sellers if they wanna be cashed out on cards at 60-70% comps that they would have a hard time moving anyway. Then you got major PC collectors that participate in the flipping to fund their PC 🤷♂️ Finding deals is just a part of the hobby. Just gotta maintain respect while you’re at it.

Selling raw cards for psa 9-10 prices, just grade it. I asked that dude for a price on a Reyna and he spent 10 min looking for his perfect comp, walked away before he found his price.
A guy tried to buy my psa 8 ronaldinho rookie for $500. He “Tried” to convince me to sell for that price bc it was for his pc…
Great meeting you Troy. What I am missing is the financial insight you have. I know the players, stats, who is good, who is bad etc, but the financial side is my weak side.

Why have the card listed and priced if you’re ‘gonna grade it’ ?
I swear everyone got to stop pricing their card as if it is a psa 10. IF it is raw then sell it as a price for raw. I really hated the hobby because of such things. Like i know its their own opinion on the card if it can get a 10 but as long as it is not in that psa slab then the price should be lower, i dun care what they say about the card. We buyer buy cards with the risk for whatever grade it is so seller should not price it that absurd.
