- Finally, the combo video I've been wanting to make since 2017.
After 2 years, and without Atlus bringing the game, the game isnt probably relevant anymore, which is a shame because it's a nice game. Oh well...
New 2.0 Sho is actually overall better, stronger, more stable and universal routes. And now, like 1.1 Minazuki, he can hit 2A after the Metsuga (j.236AB), which greatly helps his damage potential. To learn how to perform the Metsuga correctly, refer to my Kara Metsuga video on this channel.

* - Kara Metsuga is a more advanced technique. It's not integral to learning Sho when first starting out, but if you're at the point where you want to take your Sho to the next level, learn Kara Metsuga. It takes a lot of practice, but it's worth it in the end. PlateFork, who made this combo video, also made a Kara Metsuga tutorial that helped me get the hang of it. Here it is.

@@platefork Really? I didn't know that. I remember in 1.1 you had to mash so incredibly fast to get the FC. I've been doing that still. Oh well. Thanks.

Watching this video makes me happy and sad. Thanks for the Sho stuff man. Makes me wish I could grind his 2.0 stuff for real but it'll never happen. The 5B changes, SB changes, everything makes me so happy but rip.

Basic combos… I can’t even get passed the ones that the game tells me what to input with and those are only a handful of inputs.

How do you combo after the ex move in the 3rd combo? Is there a special timing?

Yea I believe it went from 1000 to 800, but you can use moonsmasher instead of moon barrage for extra damage.

Im a bit late, but do you have notations for this? Im having trouble figuring out some of these combos lol
What combo in particular? Other than having to do kara EX metsuga to get the 2A to link afterwards, it's pretty straight forward imo. To do the EX metsuga 2A link you have to cancel 214A (4A if it's from 236) into j.D then quickly do j.AB to cancel j.D's animation and stop the air momentum, and land instantly.
@@platefork I was originally having trouble on combo one but i figured it out after like an hour in the lab lol. Rn im tryna do the Ex to 2A link but with some trial and error i figured out the rest. As someone who comes from DBFZ and Strive notations just make learning combos/memorizing them easier but ive got it now. Thanks for the vid! This is the best combo showcase ive found for Sho without Tsukoyomi

@@mmmpasta1400 It similar to the Minazuki version of the combo where you have to time 2A to pickup after the EX metsuga. Ive found you cant just mash the button or else itll drop (but that may just be me idk) also make sure youre timing the Kara cancel properly so the opponent is slightly above you when it hits that way you can cancel into 2A before they hit the ground. Other than that you just have to learn the timing (dont feel bad if it takes a while, its very tight and probably wont work much online) btw if youre having trouble with the kara cancel theres a guide on this channel for it here: th-cam.com/video/vN_w9eApKm4/w-d-xo.html
