This was a tough decision w me but I ended up getting the Y. The amount of space and seat height is better. Although I like the interior of the new 3 better, the removal of the stalks was just horrible. Not a good fit for me personally
I spent some time with these two vehicles. The M3H is a few rungs above in interior quality. I am sure the improvements will be available with the refresh Y. For practicality, the Y is better. For fun to drive .... M3H duh! The ride quality is also improved with the M3H. You have to really assess your use cases to determine if you need the space of the Y else you would have more smiles with the 3.

Glad the video is helpful. My first choice is wait for the Model Y Refresh. if I had to get a car right now... I would just just rent/lease a car for now. The model 3 is great, but I LOVE the cargo space of the Model Y.
@@UTECHPIA I plan to lease. I put a deposit down for the Model 3 highland yesterday but looking at the inventory for the Y and the discounted price i’m considering switching. I loved the drive of the model 3 highland but I’m worried long term. In regards to waiting for the refresh, I’m without a car and that wait could be too long.
As soon as Highland performance is available to order in Phoenix I'm getting it. Stealth Grey black interior. My first EV. I love the acceleration, minimalism, tech, stalkless design it's futuristic just to name a few

Hi Kareem, the 2024 Model 3 Highland is more comfortable than my 2023 Model Y Performance, the suspension has improved. Road noise: hard to tell, they are about the same for my first impression. road noise improved a lot. Model 3 Highland has acoustic glass all around, and sound dampnening. Unlike old model Y only on front door glass windows. Y is much noisy. Go drive one and compare.
I have two girls (3 & 5) but I usually don’t need to carry baby trolley. I make about 50 miles per day. Would you buy the 3 (new) or Y (2024) as first EV?
Can you wait for the refresh model y (2025). If so, that is what I would recommend. Otherwise. It is a tough choice that only you can make because as laid out in my video, there are pros and cons.

The Model 3 Highland is great! I would recommend doing a test drive with Tesla (or even an overnight test drive like I did so you can really see how it fits your family). Im trying to hold out for the model 3 performance, however im worried that it will go over the $55k price therefore will not qualify for the $7500 tax credit, your thoughts? So im thinking of getting the model Y performance 2024
No one wants to stare at a screen that low to the ground just to watch something from the backseat. Would still prefer a screen directly behind the seat
We do have floor mats in the new M3 RWD is Europe, I wonder why they took them off in US, looks like stupid cost saving. Nevertheless an awesome car, super happy after 2 months having it here in Spain
What if you are in the parking lot, looking for a parking space. Your wheels are slightly turned, when you noticed someone backing out of a parking spot, and you need to signal to claim the spot…. 😅

I got the Base SR Model 3. If you have a family and need the extra cargo space, go with the Model Y. I like the Model Y better.
Is the highland quiter and less bumpy on the road than your 2023 model Y? Which one has a better ride, with less road noise?

It is included in the long range model 3 Highland. I think it is only the SR Model 3 Highland that doesn’t get ‘em.
What are your thoughts on the fabric door ?does it looks cheap compare with long range alcantara?

LOL. Nobody turns on the indicators after or during turning. We normally turn them on right when we start turning or slightly before.
