I’m glad that now he doesn’t get as much hate, but it has to be said, idols don’t choose their hairstyles, stylists do. Maybe if he had input he should’ve said something, but he apologised for that. You don’t have to accept the apology but if we keep condemning people, the world can’t improve and become better. Appropriation is to experience apart of someone's culture in a negative way. This could be from stripping the original identity of that culture (which is the most common way in the West) by either claiming it as your own or renaming it, or just being ignorant (purposely or not). It's negative because it has damaging effects to those who regularly practice that culture.
