- Passive House Design is a well-known technique that aims to create buildings that are comfortable, healthy, and energy-efficient, without relying on mechanical systems. However, this design technique is often associated with cold and temperate climates, and its application in hot and arid regions is less well-known.
In this video, we will explore how to apply Passive House Design principles to hot and arid climates, with a particular focus on reducing cooling loads and enhancing natural ventilation. We will also show you examples of buildings that have been designed and built using these techniques in hot and arid regions.

Hot low humidity climate is very easy to deal with. Hot humid is the real challenge.
And how can we deal with hot low humidity?
@@azizmalik5224it's very simple just get yourself an air cooler or at the very least this video explains to deal with it but with humidity nothing works
Yeah I eas looking at solving humidity problem in hot climates
My project is in the mountains high altitude so there is opportunity to take advantage of the winds I think
South east asia. Hot humid and hot low humid all years.
This is Technical Bollocks.
HOT DAYS DO NOT HAVE COOL OUTSIDE AIR.
The outside air is f-in HOT.
Also south east Asia is humid and hot. So evaporative cooling wouldn't do much
This is for homes in the northern hemisphere. Equator & South Hemisphere this changes
Don't forget your articles A and The. Designing a house ....
I assume this applies to Northern hemisphere?
Hot and dry climate is not so much of a problem you could have an evaporative cooler take care of it unlike in hot and humid climate where you really need to have an AC
How did you insert the link in the biue text? Wtf
What to do in hot climates with 80 and 97 percent humidity year round?
Move to a better climate.
Build house underground
cross ventilation, fans.

my house is open planned, facing north🙂, facing the street. It's so hot and bright. Luckily I planted a tree in front of my house. Otherwise it will miserable. The temperature outside and under shade/ house is so much different.
What tree did you plant?
@@azizmalik5224the big tree are red guava tree and mulberry tree. The other fruit trees are on container. The east side is shaded by the trees while the west one is still schorching. I have to watering them daily, twice on the container
How about shading the whole building? Would it help?
Obviously
Green net ke alawa kuch or option h kya jisme 10 degree kam ho jaye temperature
WELLDONE, BE EVER BRIGHT AND KNIGHT.
Great efforts 👍
The narration goes too fast. One can not comprehend. And the "music" is giving me a headache.
I love on the edge of hell. When I open the windows to air out the house, brimstone and sulfur just replace brimstone and sulfur. Basically. Hot air is replaced by hotter air.
😂
