Hi Caroline, a new subscriber here😊. I usually watch single subject videos, art, crime, and a variety of other subjects. It’s only fairly recently that I’ve discovered watching haul videos, and enjoy watching Maria Crocker for example. I’ve really enjoyed watching your vlogs, holiday and day to day vlogs! They’re perfect and I can relate to most things you discuss. Also, I’ve loved the clothes you’ve shown…some real beauties. So I think your channel is pretty near perfect 👌 ❤ I’m so pleased I’ve discovered you!

Morning Caroline. I most definitely prefer a ‘mix’ of content personally. The quote at the end really resonated with me - last month I decided to make a huge lifestyle change 🙈🙈. After much consideration I decided to leave my job. This was for many reasons and I now know that I have most definitely won the lottery of life. It’s not a long term plan, I will need to work again but I plan to have 3 - 6 months off and to date I am thoroughly enjoying it 🎉 xx

Caroline, did you realise you included the post office rant twice? I thought I was having deja vu 😂😂😂. I do so agree with you about scanners and general under staffing, I suppose the shops would argue it help keeps the cost to the customer down but it’s so frustrating!

Loved the quote at the end. I always say, any day without a catastrophe is a good day. Maybe because i worked in healthcare all my life and saw many people who did not have good days either because of chronic illness or unexpected sudden illness that would change their lives forever.
As to the question of what I watch on TH-cam, I began with watching Puss size clothing halls for inspiration in my wardrobe, but now I watch all kinds of different things from cooking to religion to make up to crime stories. love your videos, hope you’re having a day without catastrophe! ❤
I love the mix of contents always something new and different to see or discuss. Never boring but always interesting and meaningful. Don’t forget the fun bit either. Just a really good mix of everyday life.

Hi Caroline great vlog as always. Continue with the mix of content. I enjoy variation. The last piece of your vlog really resonated with me. I retired a few years back now and I'm not going to lie, some days can be boring and repetitive but it is reassuring that I have my own space and can enjoy hobbies etc. I am indeed blessed. I’ve retired and do mostly the same things every week. I really enjoy the consistency. Regarding TH-cam channels, I enjoy watching people with personality who do varied content and are down-to-earth and are chatty - very much like yourself and Carla. You both make me chuckle. I also enjoy cat and dog and animal channels and comedic channels.

I always look forward to your videos, Caroline. Like you, I enjoy watching a mixed bag of content from my favourite youtubers. I feel it gives viewers a chance to get to know the creator better. I've never been bored watching your videos.
My thermostat never went back to normal after a nightmare menopause. I decided that over winter I would get an aircon in the bedroom. I did and it is AMAZING. Whisper quiet and it makes such a difference!

Good evening Caroline totally agree with you, I’ve noticed the post office and many other places are short of staff. I live in the Channel Islands and it’s like that here.
I too hate flys! Bought a fly killer but they are very noisy when they zapp a fly, my dog was frightened by the noise had to get rid of it . Loving your channel. 💕

Hi Caroline! 👋 I love your varied content with plenty of the 'girly' stuff: fashion, beauty, home etc. I think you really get it spot on with your channel and your videos are just so watchable! 👍 I also enjoy things that are a bit different - e.g. your recent jewellery video was an absolute joy! I would just like to take this opportunity to thank you for what you do. I genuinely believe that watching you has changed my life in small but very significant ways. For example, because of you I have tried different things with my make-up and I now feel so much happier with how it looks on me and regularly get compliments on it. I have also stepped out of my comfort zone more with clothes as I have seen how trying things on that aren't your usual style can really update your look. So be proud, you are amazing. ❤ Finally, can I please ask what the sparkly stuff was that you applied to your eyelids with your finger when you were doing your make-up at the end? It looked fab! I much prefer a mix of content. I really liked the Prosecco bottle idea. I’m thinking of trying it with the bottle sitting in the oasis with the flowers all round the bottom so that you can sit it on a table as a decoration until/or after the Prosecco has been finished. Your potato breakfast dish looked gorgeous.

Agree with you about lack of staff across the board these days. Our Post Office has shocking service and closes randomly, you can never work it out. You did double up on your rant but I listened to it twice lol

Had to comment on how much I admire your patience as you preempt that you will receive comments on how to do something or how not do something or you did this wrong or that wrong etc. it must be so frustrating but i understand that you can’t comment on it. I love your videos and the variety in your videos. Very jealous as I wish I could do what you do even though it must be so hard behind the scenes some days.
For a hot moment, I mistook the sound of the the knee massager humming for the bug zapper and thought "My God, that's a lot of flies!" Commiserations on the bleach incident. Been there, done that too many times. I very much enjoy your mixture of content, always interesting! xx Patty

OMG! The flies this year are just AARRGH!!!! Like you, don’t particularly like using spray but it is all I had to hand… I actually think the buggers are immune to it! Made no difference at all, so also on a mission to find the best way to get rid of them!!
On the weekly rant, I worked in retail for the majority of my working life and over the years the level of staffing just got less and less with no replacements being taken on when someone left, but I agree it does seem to have become worse since COVID!
TH-cam videos, I like your style, I get bored after a while if it’s the same thing all the time.
Blimey, this comment has gone on a bit 😂 but one last thing, that “quote” at the end, LOVED it!

Hi, Caroline - to start where you ended, yes, there is a blessing in a predictable life, you're right. I'm saying this as I'm having a weekend at home, filling the dishwasher, hanging out washing, walking the dog, a bit of shopping. There is peace in that predictability. Totally on board with the rant re Understaffed UK. It's everywhere. I watch youTube channels often because I like the presenters. I watch people I connect with, but, yes, varied blogs and vlogs are my favourite. A bit of variety suits me. Thanks for keeping me company this Saturday afternoon. xx
What you're doing is perfect Caroline, love the fashion, travel, bit if cooking, but hun don't give up those rants, you sound like me, especially as things have changed so much over the years ,and not for the better, the service rant was one i was giving to my daughter last week, when half of the shelves were not stacked in Asda, all the staff were out picking for orders , none filling up the shelves and only two on tills, and most of the self service had red lights on then, this poor girl in her own trying to help everyone.
You are doing a great job, like listing to a friend having a chat , it can pick me up on those down days ❤❤

I like a mix of content. My TH-cam subs include yourself, scary stories, psychics and the paranormal, luxury, metal detection, narrowboats, and pimple popping. That's quite a random selection 🤣 x
Hi with the gteen dress, you could get some more bleach in a dropper bottle and flick the bleach over randomly. Itll make it look like a pattern and intentional, rather then a bleach stain.
The mix of content is appealing to me. Plus I have to like the content creator. That said I will watch a topic that interests me but rarely subscribe to them. It would be enjoyable as an American to see the shops even Aldi, local shops etc as you shop. Even if it a voice over or no narrative, it is interesting too see.

Caroline, I forgot to add that I ordered my turmeric curcumin on eBay and it is 90% curcumin. I believe curcumin is what helps with inflammation. I also have arthritic knees (a bit), but it is the meniscus that is causing my worst issues. I hope you will try it. It’s good for you.
Hi - I've been taking turmeric curcumin for years, I really notice the difference when I don't take it for a bit, wouldn't be without it now :)

Hi Caroline, I tend to watch a wide variety of TH-cam videos. I am learning Spanish so watch some educational videos aimed solely at learners but also watch other videos made by Spanish- speaking influencers on topics that interest me like fashion, makeup etc. I too am a keen fan of charity shop shopping and watch a number of videos on that subject. Your channel is one of my favourites as you combine quite a few of my interests and have a varied programme for us, travel, chat about everyday / family issues, fashion try ons, meet ups with friends etc. Thank you.

Great vlog Caroline same service issues here in Ireland I think we've gotten used to it in some way feel sorry for the staff though! Don't even mentions the doctors or hospitals OMG! strangely enough my favourite you tube channels are the 4 C'c Crafts Crime Caroline and Carla lol!!! I love your mix !
I don't mind a mix but find some items that I am not interested in..I like clothing hauls, cooking recipes, crochet, some interviews with people I am interested in, so I have a varied amount of videos i subscribe too. In fact your videos and Carla's are the only ones i watch which tend to be a mixture but I find them entertaining whatever the subject, but then I guess presentation is the key word and can make any subject interesting. Always look forward to what you have to say Keep up the good work

Morning Caroline i’ve just watched your weekly vlog and an answer to your question I definitely prefer a mixture of content. I would go as far as to say yours is my favourite channel with Carla’s being a close second. I very much enjoy your presenting style and your style of dress is very much in line with what I like to wear. As the saying goes, you do you? I also enjoy your book recommendations which we haven’t had for awhile. I am currently reading your favourite from on holiday wrong place wrong time.
On a sidenote, why don’t you bleach the rest of your dress. X

Love the closing sentiment Caroline, a real point to contemplate. For me the content I watch most regularly is the mixed type, like yours and What Julie loves. I find those based on a single thing make-up, food etc I have to be in the mood for, I will watch a couple of minutes, then think blah blah and switch it off, a thing a rarely if ever do with yours. Although the repetition of the rant in this one made me question my menopause brain😂

Hi - lamp was from Matalan about five or six years ago. I sell preloved ladies clothing on eBay, I've done it for about 20 years now, started by selling my own unwanted bits and pieces.

Service is the same here in Australia. Heaps of self scanners everywhere, chose not to use them if possible. Too many jobs are going 😢

Personally I like a mix of content. TH-cam is all things to all people, if you want a particular genre I.e. fashion, beauty, etc then I would think most people just find those channels. My biggest bugbear of TH-cam is (and I’m sorry for this comment don’t hate me🙈) is the bloody Hello Fresh adverts! The world and his wife advertises it on here don’t need to see it 24/7 rant over 😜 your channel gives a lot of variety I for one particularly like seeing travel / day out vlogs. Also think a recipe of the week is a great idea x
I do understand about HF - it is definitely ubiquitous on TH-cam! From my point of view as a creator, HF pay very well which enables me to spend the amount of time I spend creating free to watch content. But yes, I do skip through the HF ads on channels I watch!
i love a mix of content mainly and stick with a couple of people including yourself. however when researching recipes or how to use a particular item - such as my steamer i will follow people i target for info - then unsubscribe when i am confident etc. Sometimes for escapism an mood i love watching videos around night markets across the world - soothing in a way lol.
I never use scanners in supermarkets l refuse it's pure greed by supermarkets.l also avoid internet shopping it's the death of the high street and by my friends experience is fraught with disappointment! Causing nothing but trouble when returning.
