1970 is far too early especially for this piece to be as together as it is. Most likely a bootleg from 1972. They were touring with DSOTM material prior to releasing the album. As a result there are numerous bootlegs out there. It is estimated that the bootleg alone sold a million copies. This version of On the Run is on the Immersion set with accurate dates.
I used to have this on cassette in the late 70s (the whole of DSOTM) and always thought it was a demo. It's not a mash-up. On a later track you can distinctly hear Nick laughing. Never thought I'd hear this again, thanks!!!
1970? Sure? This version of On The Run is identical to the bound Immersion Box, which is 1972. The first time the Pink Floyd played these songs live was in 1972 ...
I know it most likely isn't 1970 part is true. But there was apparently a popular bootleg in store of the band's demos(recorded live) for Dark Side in 1972. Apparently made the band worried about the sales.
isn't this from the 1970 concert in japan? i could be wrong....there used to a site that had almost every pink floyd roio free for download...i dl'd just about every boot site had...

Yeah it's 72
Its funny how I usually like demo versions better than album versions. This is awesome.
i still love the early travel sequence
Feb 17, 1970.... it feels great to know what was going on on my birthday in 1970.
This is from the rainbow theater concert in 72 (or at least the first breathe is). Still a fantastic sound.
love this version of breathe, thanks for the upload
Thank you so much for sharing this. A wonderful glimpse of the history of this incredible composition.

I especially enjoy the "On the Run" version here.
This is extremely cool, thanks for posting it.

Yeah, your right.
It funny how I usually like demo versions better than album versions.
do we even have the original zabriskie point version of the travel sequence?
These aren't demos, they're from the first day of the Rainbow Tapes.
this ALL-breathe & on the run- sounds suspiciously like it's from the Rainbow Theatre 1972 show. Note for note.
It is, I think.
Studio demos, brilliant. Not 1970 though, they had not even written it then!
This is from the Dark Side of the Sky, buddy!
Early live recording from The Rainbow Theatre London 17th Feb 1972
A voz de Gilmour esta diferente, ainda que seja uma demo, com certeza, gravado em 1972 .
Mola. Auténticos archivos históricos

la puta ostia!!!!!!!!!!!
is this David Gilmour?
Yeah
yeah...... no this isn't 1970 for sure
This voice isn't David Gilmore. This kind of sonority isn't Old, is just poorly recorded.
This isn't Pink Floyd.
Nah, it is Pink Floyd. :)
It's a well-known recording. It is Pink Floyd.
Dude, listen to the band. How can you not hear the Floyd guys playing?
And yeah, it is Gilmore singing lol
is definitely Gilmour
This is Pink Floyd. David Gil "mour" not "more" is singing. He voice is deeper when live and it is clearly Gilmour.
