She can also yodel, and she has been known to incorporate it into other styles of singing. Being a contralto means she's the rarest vocal range, Cher is the only contralto I can think of with a significant level of fame. That being said, Cher doesn't have that range. All this and Diana is 18, considering most women's voices (the low register ones in particular) don't fully develop until around 30...we have lots of next level performances to come from this young woman.

To answer a couple of your questions, she is 18 now. The song you just watched, an Elvis cover was the first of 9 songs she sang in a competition. The other people on there were also competitors. She won of course, and you would love watching all of her performances, I know I did! The show is called 'Show maskgoon' and I think on her channel she has the performances or on htb which this one is on. No, she is not signed with anyone, she is studying at premier Russian music school, and she has said she in not in a hurry...but is totally devoted to music and family (no boyfriends, or seemingly interest, she has said that can wait as well). Dimash is probably more exceptional, for his extensive range, extraordinary control and vast spectrum of techniques. I like this singer, but the overtones is kinda annoying too, because she can't do a lot vocally when she's doing them otherwise she loses them. But the warm contralto is a thing of beauty.

She was born in far eastern Russia to a severely alcoholic mother who abused and beat her until the age of three where she abandoned her on this side of the street. She ended up in a orphanage but a very wonderful woman who worked there adopted her and by the age of five because she was so traumatized Diana still cannot talk properly so they decided to give her singing lessons thinking that would help. This is when they discovered her unusual talent.Diana is a dramatic contralto with the ability to say my polyphonic overtones which truly makes her one of a kind there is no one else who sounds like her.

Yes, she is real. No one like her in the world. No one. She's 18 but has been singing with confidence, power, control, stage presence, emotion, range, and that original tonal quality, for years and has only improved. I heard that her vocal coach was concerned that her voice is such that recordings do not do it justice, cannot perfectly capture it. Once-in-a-lifetime indeed.

There were 9 singers who were also the judges and critiqued each other. There were 9 genres of music they had to perform over the course off the show. Thus Diana sang in many different styles. She is 18.

She can also yodel, and she has been known to incorporate it into other styles of singing. Being a contralto means she's the rarest vocal range, Cher is the only contralto I can think of with a significant level of fame. That being said, Cher doesn't have that range. All this and Diana is 18, considering most women's voices (the low register ones in particular) don't fully develop until around 30...we have lots of next level performances to come from this young woman.

She won of course, and you would love watching all of her performances, I know I did!
