I just looked up 'dead frontier' expecting to see the old flash game I played in like 2007, which I remember being being damn spooky and fairly grounded. After seeing this, I am very confused, what in the fuck is going on in this game lmao there's like elementals n shit and everyone's running around fast as fuck with miniguns.
That's all the game is. Don't bother trying to get top survivor or expect a "fair" experience when the only real way to play is with a minigun. bosses willl catch you and 1 shot you without a minigun + speed boost. fun game
The game made a switch to 3D in late 2010, so that might be why it seems a bit jarring to you. I also started out in 2D a few months before the switch to 3D, and yeah it took a bit getting used to. There's no "elementals", you're probably talking about the Ice Hound which is a variation of the Devil Hound. I realize saying there's no elementals then saying it's called "Ice" Hound might be a bit contradictory, but yeah. You also gotta realize that these boss nests are mostly for endgame players so naturally miniguns and stuff is to be expected. Running around fast as fuck is due to the addition of implants that can boost your loot chances, damage, speed, experience, etc. Might be worth rediscovering if you feel like it. Drop by the discord server where it'll be much easier to give you guidance, look for me there :)

You need to dismantle, NOT scrap, certain items. Namely 120s, implants (can be tier 1), etc.
