- From 15 till 24 October 2021, the first Euregio Orchestra Academy was organized in the border region Netherlands-Germany. After an intense week of rehearsals near Osnabrück, 3 concerts took place with young talented musicians aged 12 till 25. This video was shot during the 2nd concert in the Ehemalige Kirche in the town of Hagen am Teutoburger Wald.

Il a été dit que Toscanini, dirigeant cette symphonie et mécontent de son orchestre disait à son premier violon: "Ne vous retournez pas, nous sommes suivi..."
I have around 100+ performances of the Beethoven 7th Symphony in my LP, cassette tape, CD archives. + video recordings. I'd have been glad to have paid $100+ for a ticket to this performance and have felt I'd gotten my $$s worth! Bracing rendition. BTW, check out Herbert Kegel and the Dresden Philharmonic from reportedly 1982 on digital LPs and then CD transfers. They didn't pause between the third and fourth movements. Just rolled into the fourth movement from the third. Very intoxicating. All the best from metro-Washington, DC.

Beethoven writes a metronome marking of 72 for a bar (2/4). That’s pretty spot on here with some youthful spiciness on top…:-)
