Thank You Abrar you exploring my birthplace Kampala. I was only 7 years when we left Uganda because of Idi Amin. We were state less and nobody wanted us. Red cross helped and then we came to Sweden, we still live here. Don't remember so much in Uganda but hope you will capture as much as possible our hometown. Uganda was dreamland in 60s-70s as l have told from my parents.

Yes, he should visit for sure. If his parents left behind any properties (land, houses, etc) the current law allows them to recover/reclaim them. Many Asians have returned to Uganda 🇺🇬 since the 1980s, and are now bona fide citizens.

I wonder wish side you will explore in next Vlog. I loved Western Uganda as it’s the home of RWENZORI Mountains on the Congo-Uganda border. It’s the source of Nile from Congo side. Also Queen Elizabeth National park.

Thanks for bringing all the memories back. I was rather disappointed that y couldn’t go to kisumu my birth place. It’s a beautiful clean city by the lake shore and it’s known as the Europe of Africa. U would loved the fish there known as gaygay in the local language and tilapia for u which I know u have been enjoying it. And those bananas nothing like it anywhere in the world. I can’t have any other bananas except for the one in Africa. Love your vlogs and the best of travel.
