- Bruno Fernandes' penalty was not enough to inspire Manchester United to beat Manchester City in the Emirates FA Cup 2023 Final. Pep Guardiola's men triumphed with 2 goals from Iker Gundogan as they search for a treble if they beat Inter Milan in the Champions League final on Saturday 10th of June. Rio Ferdinand shared his pre match and post match thoughts on the game along with Joel Beya (Cheeky Sport) and Stephen Howson (Stretford Paddock). Jack Grealish complained about his Gucci bag being ruined, Haaland celebrated in the changing rooms and unfortunately we only saw a sad Marcus Rashford, Varane, Garnacho and Erik ten Hag. Whoever is saying city wasn't playing at best, thats because of a reason! It was a great tactical battle where EtH nullified a lot of city players. It took a hit on United's creativity. Had to be very clinical to get something good out of it. Gundogan got 2 freak goals to win it. Haaland, de Bruyne, Silva all just were invisible. Shows how good each and every person in the City line up are though. But proud of you lads, come on United. We do it better next season!

Well said! It was an even match because our manager set us well and the players did their best. City had higher ball possession but we created more big chances and had a higher xG. All that without 3 first team players while City had their full squad.

That penalty we had was lucky because Grealish didn't mean that. If it weren't for the miracle penalty it would have been 2-0. I was happy if didn't go to extra time because we'd have got embarrassed. None of the those deserve to wear that jersey. De Gea has too many of these accidents in games that matter!
