- In today's video, I will show you how to plant Spring bulbs such as Tulips, Daffodils, and Muscari in containers for Spring blooms. Also, I will show you how to store bulbs in containers. We will discuss several tips for successfully planting bulbs in containers for Spring blooms.
Remember to get beautiful blooms in Spring, you should plant your bulbs in Fall as they need the cold Winter period to activate them (so to speak).

The squirrels are really out and about with their nuts. The most I’ve seen for a while. Are you planting in containers or the ground? Blood meal, Pepper flakes, soap etc help somewhat but you have to keep up with it. I dig the holes 3 times the size of the bulbs and make sure to cover good and press down hard on the area so the ground is stiff and firm and not loose and then cover with mulch, leaves, twigs, etc. That works great! Try not to leave any loose ground soil around, that attracts them to freshly dug holes. Also keep your bulbs in a container while you planting, avoid any residue from the bulbs in the garden. They have incredible good nose … 😂😂😂If planting in containers, you need to shelter them from winter snow and rain and the rodents too which I went over in the video. Have fun!!! You will be rewarded in Spring! FYI, Home Depot has their bulbs 50% OFF.

Hi Alexandrina Victoria🌺 .Wonderful bulbs and I can't wait to see their flowers in spring . I have daffodils in the garden and they come every year and our climate is warm . Alexandrina you can plant tulips bulbs in the ground in long lines or under trees and you can plant them 15 to 20 cm deep in soil or a little more because of squirrles . Have a great day .⚘️🌻⚘️
Awesome! Thank you for sharing!🌺
You are doing a fine job. I have just finished dividing and packaging my last batch of Cannas. I plan to expand my Canna areas next Spring.
