Sounds really good. Even through TH-cam and the computer, you can feel it. On the other hand, I said that it is not a miracle. I think an original well-tuned Lenco (I have 2) with a decent MM head would have a similar sound.
@@loitran7105 Exactly. Money and the goodness of components do not always decide the results. I also had to learn this lesson. Of course, as an enthusiast, I would also like to have a Garrard and an expensive tonearm. But I already know that I won't be able to get more out of it than Lenco. That's why I'm calm and now I only listen to the computer speakers (they play really well, even though they're cheap). And ~1000 vinyl, two turntables, and two DIY tube amplifiers with DIY speakers are sitting idle. I feel that I have passed this stage.
You are right, the Ikeda sounds a little sibilant, You can watch the new platter and bearing upgrade at the link: th-cam.com/video/ThaTUeJMbvQ/w-d-xo.html
@@loitran7105 I think the real problem was the second arm SME but shure is the cardrige setup or something not related to the arm , the sme is a really good arm.
@@gonzalogrillo958 Not yet 3012R is a universal mass tonearm and can take a ranger of cartridge compliance than another tonearm I know the Ikeda problem with the suspension needs to be serviced, I'll do it and you can see the Ikeda work on SME-3012R well in the future. the old Ikeda is one of the best cartridges my loved
To be honest, it all sounds terrible to me. It's clearly good equipment, but it sounds no better than the desktop audio system I use for TH-cam... oh, hang on... 😀
Lovely tables. Second cart sounds especially sibilant, though..

Cart 2 silibent, hard sounding.
I subscribed just to watch the wooden cylinder rotating ☝️👍😀🤗😎
You are gentlemen 👍😊
Great system and vids! Where can I get a record weight like this?

Yes nice tables , but something wrong with sibilance. What aftermarket platter you put on that beauty?

Love your setup but man sorry to say that record weight really takes away from the whole look.
Oh no 😂
I know is not a perfect design,
But ebony timber is not easy to buy today
