Mender really depends on whether it has the legendary pilot or not. But if it does, definitely mender. However, Demeter is also a great bot because everyone has one for free
For me both are good but one is better than the other and how? Demeter gives more protection from the shield but does not heal as much Mender heals more but does not give as much protection This is how I see the 2 when they make a comparison, I always say those 2 aspects
with the pilot demeter can also buff your allies with more damage so it has more to it than mender, but mender does have the ability to heal grey damage which is a winning feature for me
I won the legendary pilot about 2 months ago so I built the mender in workshop , I’ve had better results with this bot than I did with my Demeter. Thanks for the video comparisons

I believe mender is stronger as it can heal instantly but in case of demeter it will heal faster when someone shoot at it's absorber shield and nowadays new meta bots can easily ignore it's absorber shield.
A lot of people can heal. The key difference is grey healing. People forget that this game is not a duo or solo matches but 6 players team where players can be on Khepri, Tyr, Nightingale, Nodens, Heimdall and active healing module. So much healing available in the game. But all of it doesn't matter if you can't heal grey damage. 2 words. Sonic Weapons. Who are you going to trust to heal that damage?

I have a lvl9 Ancient Tyr, Sheriff Demeter n a Mender(with pilot) to help the Khepri. After reading the comments, I'm still not sure. I like the Mender, hope it's worth the resources I put into it. Thanks for the comparisons @AYGIR 👍🏼
I fought an mk3 mender and it was a zombie horror show. I unloaded my shell guns multiple times on it and even blew it up several times but it just never lost more then a fraction of its health. Infact it was so efficient that my entire team was being pushed back. That damn mender not only survived till the end but also lead its team to victory. Demeters i have faught too but honestly they are not that scary. If you have shield breaker you can easily finish them off before they do too much healing.
Demeter has the absorber, which in its case allows it to do more than just block damage. Similar to the Pantheon robots (whose ability damage increases as enemies fire into their shield), it does increased healing, and that increase in healing allows it to heal more non-grey damage than Mender. Still worse at healing versus sonic weapons and grey damage in general, but that doesn't mean it doesn't put up a good fight.
I rather have mender for the huge gray up heal cuz to be honest the shield breaker pilots just completely trashed all of the bots that relied on aegis or absorber

Demeter is great for Titans like you pointed out, but all it takes is one straggler with a shield breaking pilot to end it all. It's really annoying. But aside that, I would definitely prefer a Demeter support for my Titan. Could you do a similar test with the Tyr? Past few days, I've had a strong urge to start running it with a Scorcher/Scald build.

I was in a game with 2 other menders, with me using a mender myself, and us three carried the team into the enemy team with unstoppable and unlimited healing, the enemy teams Titans even couldn’t do anything, it was pure insanity
More or less we have to admit that by this video mender has little favor for itself due to it's legendary Pilot but we have to take into consideration that Apmeter pilot has been nerfed before. If it has not happened then surely the demeter has a higher chance to win in this video. Anyways Thanks for such comparative videos. 🙂
Demeter is really underrated bot, i'm telling you if you play it right the demeter can go toe to toe with the khepri. If you meet a good player of khepri yes the demeter still lose but you still can take a big chunk of it's hp. But if it was a terrible player, they can't even scratch your bot. The demeter and khepri is pretty similar from the movement and the speed. The more close you are the hardest your enemy to hit you. I'm trying couple setup like flame, toxic, and sonic, but sonic work the best. Demeter with sonic and max stack of amplifier can take down a maxed titan too
Just some feedback! imo the "A"s and "B"s are a little bit complicated to navigate around. Could you instead put it under the same test and in the tags/test intro put it as something like "Demeter boosted" instead of 2A? ( Test 1 - Demeter boosted )
Demeter. Just if we take into consideration only the battle situation, there is not that mech with shield breaker pilot and most of the weaponry is for mid-range engagment. Demeters shield works for quite a while and will get charge a little with smart mg. people don't really know whom they are firing at and ussually shoot after 3 seconds when they see absorber. Since demeter's ability works longer this is better for him. Also, his battle healing is better for one main reason. His ally cannot be damaged by most weaponry while his ability is active. Mender does healing in burst, but todays weaponry is too much for him. Howevere, if we are talking about the titans Mender is better, becuase A: he can heal from behind a cover, and due to his higher range, he won't make himself a prior target and does not need to seek immediate cover after his ability ending B: his ability has 5 second faster cooldown meaning that he is better at sustaining Titans and maybe some big sized tanks like Fenrir, Buwark, Nemesis, T Falcon, and Behemoth. Unfortunatelly tanks like Skyros, Revenant, Shell, Normal Falcon, and Invader are not ideal for him since those tanks are putting themselves constantly at risk, just to make use of their abilites and capabilities, as well as most of them being rather small in size, thus making its easier to hit Mender. And of course C: Mender with his ability is quite more durable. Saying that, both mechs hate whiteout drones and Erebus. Why not Typhon in that list you mask. It is rather simple. Having 4 medium slots typhon prioritises tanks and other mechs with high firepower like Ares
Even tho I don't have Mender but I have Demeter I hopefully pixo won't nerf Mender ability or the pilot if the robot become even more popular since Demeter is gold tier while Mender being a purple tier and much faster components you can get in the workshop
They need to buff the Demeter pilot honestly. It was initially released as 30% and that was a bit too much at that time but right now a 20% would be perfect. It would revive Demeter and make it a more powerful meta robot.
I have both maxed and run both,have to say the better one has to be Demeter,only reason most don't run it is because of all the op robots coming out with pilots letting them shoot through shields,once those go away all shielded robots gonna make a comeback
@@Supremax67 demeter's heal is more of keeping your friend alive, once demeter teleports to your friend they get buffed with damage if you have the pilot on top of blocking damage and healing them up. the grey damage healing is still a winning factor for me but demeter is far from pointless, helped me quite alot.
What if 6 sharanga grom ant distance of 100 meter shoot at Demeter will it's ability is active and is repair the alli .how much grey hp can it restore?
I feel like Demeter is good for helping others (obviously because it’s a healer) but in a way to take less damage and counter heal the damage it took while yes mender also heals but it heals less and doesn’t provide the aboarder shield BUT because I feel like mender can really like fight ok it’s own with it’s ability it counter heals and has damage reduction and with it’s good grey hp heal it becomes tanky unlike Demeter once it’s ability is done it’s mostly hide or die or take huge amounts of damage
I have both with the legendary pilot but I feel that the demeter is extremely weak without the shield. For healing, mender actually does more healing because of the shorter cooldown.

It's really hard to kill a team which has a mender which has less cooldown for it's ability and has more healing power to generate the grey HP using the pilot which is crazy. I hope they change it. In my opinion it's too powerful.👍😁
You just need to focus on it. Any bot with high level sonics can still kill a maxed Mender. They just don't have the high HP pools that big tanks have.
@@CaptainSwallowtail Menders do have high hp when their ability is active they get 64% damage reduction, 7 pulse healing and 30% of each pulse grey region repair (Marie leclair) all of which combines to very high hp for the ability duration along with speed which means they can escape if things go wrong or make enemy miss shots along with a small build which makes it hard for enemies to focus on them, absolutely overpowered and game breaking.

Demeter can capture middle beacon then jump back to safety behind your friend. I did this severe times, it work. Make sure u have anti control tho

Demeter healing is pointless. Too many ways to receive heals in this game, only thing that matters is grey healing.

Question, for anyone playing the game on pc, how much memory from the gpu does this game need? 2gb enough? I have the mx350.
2GB VRAM would be the minimum for playing I believe. It would be enough for playing most likely but not great for smooth gameplay.
