You always find something interesting and capture it well. Geese are a bit grumpy, especially at nesting time. As we were out photographing yesterday I told my wife that if I was closer to Calgary I’d be asking Mike if I could tag along on one of his journeys to learn some stuff. But,your commentary is just as good as your video skills. 👍👏
Hey, you happened to catch me with the laptop open! I use a Deity shotgun mic for the ambient sound and lately I have been using the DJI Mic 2 that came with my new Osmo Pocket 3 to record the voice-over. Both work pretty well, I think, but it is easy to blow out the Deity mic. It is a few years old, though, so I'm certain the newer ones are better.

The commentary is what draws me in as well as the scenery 👍
It was only 11 years ago when the great flood came to southern Alberta. I think I prefer it a bit drier.

@@ExploreThroughMe I record straight into the camera for field audio. Doesn't look like the Zoom has any manual controls but it should work fine
