- Yet another revisit of the Hillock at L3, after two or so months (see • WH40k Tacticus - Raid ... if you're that interested), and a fight before we killed off Corrodius (we didn't want to, this time, but it happened nevertheless, again!) gave me an idea for a Lantern bait out using Thaddeus!
Two runs this time - The first one is the "perfected" version with Corrodius dead, the second is the original run and a bit of a study on how to run this map with this team with Corrodius alive (happens rather rarely to us, but some guildies seem to prefer it on this map).

Rho team has been amazing on the map, and you're right about the Biovore being handy - it can limit the movement options of Morty, bait his lantern into useless directions and present soft targets for him to use his AoE melee attack against.
Best run for me was scoring a hair over 400k damage.
You feel like you're one wrong move away from everything going badly wrong at every stage of the fight, but Aleph is very helpful when it comes to keeping Tan and Rho topped up on health.
I think I'll be investing in Aleph's passive though, because if a plague wind blows her up and she's next to Rho, it's usually goodnight for the both of them.
You really need her manual heal free to keep her at full health and not becoming a liability like that.

So there's still a decent bit of room for toughening them up too.
We do have a Biovore enthusiast (with a Ragnar team) in the guild, who has been extremely vocal about it, but I indeed can see its utility against Morty and possibly against Karen. And well as a clockbock in general. 😅
Thanks for sharing your mech stats, that certainly gives some food for thought. I'm personally torn between going Nerdogant and Ragnar as my alternative raid team, but a Rhombo combo sounds awesome, too...
And yes, this fight is all about them 200 IQ plays and brown pants moments. 😂
@@caoryn Didn't come here to shill my channel by any means, but I have a replay of the fight if you're interested as my most recent video.
I mostly use the mech team because they're amazing, but also they're the only one I have ranked up really high.
I've managed to force the proverbial square mechadendrite into quite a few round holes in terms of guild raids.
Even Morty and the Tank can fall victim to them if you play well enough.
Aye, the mechs are good I hear - sadly, being on a limited budget and having pretty much the team in these replays as my main ones, whatever I choose to go for will only become useful in about three months from now while not helping me in the current LREs much. 😖
