That's some fancy flying Boy!! I remember that HKing Pommie fella Gliding the EFX at Long Reef in Sydney. Great review AV8R. Wild Dogs down here are scared of Chainsaws.
....thanks again for a thorough review of the Durafly MFX Racer.....whenever i am in the market for another rc aircraft.....i ALWAYS go to your index of videos first knowing you will have a thorough review especially the page with the specifications which none of the other rc reviewers provide....so i screen shot that page to save for future reference....thanks again!!
I just ordered the MFX Racer thru your link....however it linked to the green version for $139 which is out of stock (as of the date of this post) so I searched for the orange version and it was on sale for $109.99 which I purchased...hope you get credit for this sale.
@@ModelAV8RChannel and Adam I told Gina you scolded me for not knowing location lol I was in camera shock not use to talking on camera you and Heidi have it down to a T😊😊😊
I have the Goblin and boy does that get my adrenaline pumping. I'll have to admit that I have a SAFE Rx in it, full SAFE for launches and 60 degree limited envelope for racing. I struggle with orientation and this thing is really fast on top of that. Surprisingly the Goblin has plenty of room for the Rx and I use 4S 1400 batteries. People are amazed that the little prop hauls it around so quickly...and the sound 🤟.
Yes sir the little Goblins are very cool looking, and quick! Nothing wrong with using AS3X when you want to. I would have if there was room. Luckily it is pretty solid as is! Oh and yes...the sound of a speedster is infectious!
Holy crap! That thing boogies! Good job keeping her in frame, Heidi 😊 Looked like I was watching in 2x speed. Great review. Seems to be a fun plane to zip around the field and try to peel the paint off during re-entry 😂 👍
I have the bigger EFX Extra. Very fun plane and this one looks to be equally good (better power to weight ratio as well i imagine). Should sell extremely well. I love the sound of a screaming high kv motor with small prop!
This video shows your skills very well again , with no gyro plane looks rock solid , and now you have even impressed wild life in the area you fly at , they must have been watching for awhile now ……great job !
I think that is the best footage of that little rocket on TH-cam! Very nice flying and filming, and a great review. I think that plane would make me a better flier for sure.
Not a new plane, but I'd love to see you do a review of the E-Flite V900 on 4S, 2200mAh G2 battery. I have this one and it is (for me) a booger to launch. Great flying Adam!
I was able to install an AR630 upside down to the top just behind the hatch. It definitely did not need to stabilization. Although the new as3x+ with this plane might be a nice benifit. I did end up finding it nice to use the extra couple channels to set up for flapperons for shorter landings.
Yep, I knew somebody would find a way. I'm looking forward to playing with the new AS3X+. I have the RX in one of my Extreme Flight Edges updated to that so I can learn how to use the new tuning options.
I noticed this plane came in quite a bit heavier than Durafly has listed on their website. They list a flying weight of 320 grams. Adam's plane weighed in at 418 grams, with the recommended battery and no gyro. I'd sure like to see someone check the speed. Any guesses? It sure looks fast, and what a great RC paint job. Thanks Adam.
Yep I think that was a misprint. The RTF weight on the website is actually what we got for the empty weight. I don't have GPS on this one, but based on what I've seen on other speedsters I'm guessing 90 to 100mph. In my experience the small ones look a little faster than they are actually going. Perceived speed is greater. Thanks for watching!
The coyotes remind me of the valley flyers Apollo 11 field in LA. We have homeless encampment fires everyday around the area and as soon as those police and fire sirens come around the coyotes go off
Yeah no idea when parts for that specific plane may be available. I do know they can only use so much tooling on the production lines at a time, so making parts for dozens of different planes takes a good bit of time. You could repair it. Foam can be fixed, and aftermarket props and electronics are readily available. Half my hangar are planes that have been out of production for a long time, so no parts available. I still keep them flying. Sometimes a little modeling goes a long way.
What's up Pilots! Be sure and check out the sales on planes at HobbyKing...the MFX has been on sale lately!

Thanks very much man, we appreciate that! Enjoy it!
I hate to tell you, the coyotes are always that close. They are pretty darn sneaky. This plane looks pretty fun.
Nice flying Adam I know that plane is out of my flying skills good video 😊👍👍👍
Thanks Frank!

Adam fantastic flying and review. Heidi amazing job on the video. Fired up the Coyotes. Jeff in LA USA
Thanks Jeff! Yeah that was cool!
Great review Adam! The throttle to elevator launch mix was perfect and VERY helpful. Love this plane! Scott
Its awesome Scott! Thanks man!
Holy cow.. That was awesome... Very zippy plane, really like it. Really chuckled at that pack of coyotes lighting up in response to that speed run....
Thanks Will, yeah its PDQ! The Coyotes were quite the experience.
Love it! I have an EFX racer. This would compliment it nicely.
Yes sir...as Gina said "faster than a stabbed rat!"

Nice video, that's a fast little plane for sure! Thanks for sharing, Semper Fi!
Thanks! It is...fast as all get out!
I had the EFXtra which was a blast, I don't think I could cope with the smaller size, my eyes ain't what they used to be Lol Great review 😀👍
Ha! I understand that Ian! Thanks my friend!

Al. Bro. Damn its fast! Even the coyotes think so! Heidi was on point...

Most all rc planes do not require or need a stabilizer
Nice, informative demo & flight. Heidi did quite well keeping up with that little speedster!
Thanks! Yes she did....tough one to film for sure!

You and Haidee think as one. She can predict all of your movements haha. Thanks for the video!
Yep, going over a flight plan helps. Sometimes I call the maneuvers so she knows whats coming.
A very fast flyer indeed & flown/filmed so well. The green certainly stands out.👏👏👏👏
It is Noel...quick one! Thanks brother!
Mine came in yesterday and I cant wait to fly it 🇺🇸👍🏼
Have fun!

@heathmikkola7157. If you could upload a picture of the AR630 install, that would be very helpful.

great review...it's a rocket 👍
Thanks man, it really is!
So no room for a remote ID module?
I could probably get one in there, but man it would be tight. Probably lay it beside the RX.
hobbyking should improve in spare parts supply.
They're working on that, new owners/management. In the mean time maybe pilots should work on not crashing so much...just a thought. Lol.
