There is one and ONLY one foundation, That is Christ Jesus, found_*EXCLUSIVELY*_ in God's Word. ...how about they stick with Matthew Mark Luke John Paul Isaiah Jeremiah Moses and the Psalms and the Prophets... do NOT contradict Jesus. "Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity. Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock: And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock. And every one that heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them not, shall be likened unto a foolish man, which built his house upon the sand: And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell: and great was the fall of it. And it came to pass, when Jesus had ended these sayings, the people were astonished at his doctrine: For he taught them as one having authority, and not as the scribes." (Matt 7:21-29)

HEBREWS 4:12 12 For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.
1. Death is compared to sleep. There must, then, be some analogy between a state of sleep and a state of death, and this analogy must pertain to that which renders sleep a peculiar condition. Our condition in sleep differs from our condition when awake simply in this, that when we are soundly asleep, we are entirely unconscious. In this respect, then, death is like sleep; that is, the dead are unconscious. This figure is frequently used to represent the condition of the dead. Daniel 12:2: MND 206.2 “Many of them that sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake.” Matthew 27:52: “Many bodies of the saints which slept arose.” Acts 7:60: After Stephen had beheld the vision of Christ, and was stoned to death, the record says he “fell asleep. In 1 Corinthians 15:20 Christ is called the first-fruits of them that slept; and in verse 51 Paul says, “We shall not all sleep. Again Paul writes to the Thessalonians (1 Thessalonians 4:13, 14), that he would not have them ignorant concerning them which are asleep. In verse 14 he speaks of them as asleep in Jesus, and explains what he means, in verse 16, by calling them “dead in Christ.” And the advocates of the conscious state cannot dispose of these expressions by saying that they apply to the body merely; for they do not hold that the consciousness which we have in life (which is the same we lose in death) pertains to the body merely. Job plainly declares that they will not awake till the resurrection at the last day. “Man dieth and wasteth away; yea, man giveth up the ghost, and where is he? As the waters fail from the sea, and the flood decayeth and drieth up, so man lieth down and riseth not: till the heavens be no more, they shall not awake, nor be raised out of their sleep.” If, therefore, there is no resurrection, these dead are destined to sleep in unconsciousness forever. MND 206.3 2. The dead are in a condition as though they had not been. So Job testifies; for he affirms that if he could have died in earliest infancy, like a hidden, untimely birth he would not have been; and in this respect he declared he would have been like kings, counselors, and princes of the earth, who built costly tombs in which to enshrine their bodies when dead. To that condition he applies the expression which has since been so often quoted, “There the wicked cease from troubling, and there the weary be at rest.” Job 3:11-18. If, then, a person when dead is as though he had not been, without a resurrection to release him from this state, he will never be, or exist, again. MND 207.1 3. The dead have no knowledge. Speaking of the dead man, Job says (14:21), “His sons come to honor, and he knoweth it not; and they are brought low, and he perceiveth it not of them.” Psalm 146:4: “His breath goeth forth, he returneth to his earth; in that very day his thoughts perish.” Solomon was inspired to speak to the same effect as his father David (Ecclesiastes 9:5, 6): “For the living know that they shall die, but the dead know not anything.... Also their love, and their hatred, and their envy is now perished: neither have they any more a portion forever in anything that is done under the sun.” Verse 10: “There is no work, nor device, nor knowledge, nor wisdom in the grave whither thou goest.” Evidence like this can neither be mistaken nor evaded. It is vain for the immaterialist to claim that it applies to the body in distinction from an immortal soul; for they do not hold that the thoughts (dialogismos, URS MNAD 26 THE RESURRECTION 208.1 thought, reasoning), which David says perish in death, belong to the body, but to the soul. And according to Solomon, that which knows when the man is living, does not know when he is dead. Without a resurrection, therefore, the dead will forever remain without knowledge. MND 207.2 4. The dead are not in heaven, nor in hell, but in the dust of the earth. Job 17:13-16: “If I wait, the grave is mine house.” MND 208.1 In chap. 14:14 he said, “All the days of my appointed time will I wait, till my change come.” The change referred to must therefore be the resurrection, and he describes his condition till that time in the following language: “I have made my bed in the darkness. I have said to corruption, Thou art my father; to the worm, Thou art my mother and my sister, ... when our rest together is in the dust.” Isaiah 26:19: “Thy dead men shall live; together with my dead body shall they arise. Awake and sing, “ye that dwell in dust; for thy dew is as the dew of herbs; and the earth shall cast out the dead.” Is it possible that the phraseology of this text can be misunderstood? It, speaks of the living again of dead men, of the arising of dead bodies, and of the earth’s casting out the dead. And the command is addressed to them thus: “Awake and sing.” Who? Ye who are still conscious, basking in the bliss of heaven, and chanting the high praises of God? - No; but “Ye who dwell in dust;” ye who are in your graves. If the dead are conscious, Isaiah talked nonsense. If we believe his testimony, we must look into the graves for the dead; and if there is no resurrection, there they will forever lie mingled with the clods of the valley. MND 208.2 5. The dead, even the most holy and righteous, have no remembrance of God, and cannot, while in that condition, render him any praise and thanksgiving. Psalm 5:6: “For in death there is no remembrance of thee: in the grave who shall give thee thanks?” Psalm 115:17: “The dead praise not the Lord, neither any that go down into silence.” Good King Hezekiah, when praising the Lord for adding to his days fifteen years, gives this as the reason why he thus rejoiced (Isaiah 38:18, 19): “For the grave cannot praise thee, death cannot celebrate thee; they that go down into the pit cannot hope for thy truth. The living, the living, he shall praise thee, as I do this day; the father to the children shall make known thy truth.” Modern doctors of divinity have Hezekiah in heaven, praising God. He declared that when he was dead he could not do this. Whose testimony is the more worthy of credit, that of the inspired king of Israel, or that of uninspired and backslidden theologians of subsequent ages of error and confusion? If we can believe Hezekiah, and we think we can, the righteous dead are never more to praise their Maker, unless there is to be a resurrection of the dead. MND 209.1 6. The dead, even the righteous, are not ascended to the heavens. So Peter testifies respecting the patriarch David (Acts 2:29, 34, 35): “Men and brethren, let me freely speak unto you of the patriarch David, that he is both dead and buried, and his sepulcher is with us unto this day. For David is not ascended into the heavens: but he saith himself, The Lord said unto my Lord, Sit thou on my right hand, until I make thy foes thy footstool.” We call the special attention of the reader to the whole argument presented by Peter, beginning with verse 24. Peter undertakes to prove from a prophecy recorded in the Psalms, the resurrection of Christ. He says (verse 31), “He, seeing this before, spake of the resurrection of Christ, that his soul was not left in hell [hades, the grave], neither did his flesh see corruption.” MND 210.1 And how does he prove that David speaks of Christ, and not of himself? - He proves it from the fact that David’s soul was left in hades, and his flesh did see corruption; and his sepulcher was with them to that day. For David, he says, has not ascended into the heavens. Now if David’s soul did live right on in consciousness; if it was not left in hades, no man can show that David, in that psalm, did not speak of himself instead of Christ; and then Peter’s argument for the resurrection of Christ would be entirely destroyed. But Peter, especially when speaking, as he was on this occasion, under the influence of the Holy Ghost, knew how to reason; and his argument entirely destroys the dogma of the immortality of the soul. But if David has not yet ascended into the heavens, how is he ever to get there? There is no other way but by a resurrection of the dead. So he himself says (Psalm 17:15): “I shall be satisfied when I awake [from the sleep of death] with thy likeness.” MND 210.2 7. And finally, Paul, in his masterly argument in 1 Corinthians 15, states explicitly the conclusion which is necessary from every one of the texts which we have quoted, that if there is no resurrection, then all the dead, even those who have fallen asleep in Christ, are perished. Verses 16-18: “For if the dead rise not, then is not Christ raised. And if Christ be not raised, your faith is vain; ye are yet in your sins. Then they also which are fallen asleep in Christ are PERISHED.” MND 211.1 As we read this testimony, we pause in utter amazement, that any who profess to believe the Bible should cling with tenacity to the doctrine of the immortality of the soul, which so directly contradicts it. If the souls of the dead live right on, are they perished? What! perished? and yet living in a larger sphere? Perished? and yet enjoying the attendant blessings of everlasting life in heaven? Perished? and yet at God’s right hand where there is fullness of joy, and pleasures forevermore? Perish amid the ruins of the heathen mythology from which it springs, that theory which thus lifts its dead men on high, contrary to the teachings of the word of God! MND 211.2 Paul speaks of the whole being. As in Adam we die, so in Christ shall we be made alive. Is it conceivable that Paul drops out of sight the real man, the soul which soars away to realms of light, and frames all this argument, and talks thus seriously about the cast-off shell, the body, merely? The idea is preposterous to the last degree. MND 211.3
After stating that if there is no resurrection, we perish, he assures us that Christ is risen, and that there is a resurrection for all; then he takes up the resurrection of those who sleep in Christ, and tells us when that resurrection shall be. It is to take place, not by the rising from this mortal coil of an ethereal, immaterial essence when we die, but it is to be at the great day, when the last trump shall shatter this decrepit earth from center to circumference. MND 211.4 The testimony on this point is well summed up by Bishop Law, who speaks as follows:- MND 212.1 “I proceed to consider what account the Scriptures give of that state to which death reduces us. And this we find represented by sleep; by a negation of all life, thought, or action; by rest, resting-place, or home, silence, oblivion, darkness, destruction, or corruption.” MND 212.2 This representation is abundantly sustained by the scriptures referred to; and by all these the great fact is inscribed in indelible characters over the portals of the dark valley, that our existence is not perpetuated by means of an immortal soul, but that, without a resurrection from the dead, there is no future life. MND 212.3
We must dare to speak up about these things. Fear not!❤ Or the knowledge and light and good society will be trampled underfoot. Matthew 5: 13-14. Salt and Light 13 “You are the salt of the earth. But if the salt loses its saltiness, how can it be made salty again? It is no longer good for anything, except to be thrown out and trampled underfoot. 14 “You are the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden. 15 Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. 16 In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.

Please pray for me friends I'm more confused than ever. Feel like my mental state is deteriorating day by day, not just emotionally, but I feel like my sanity is leaving everyday blends into the next. I feel like there's no clarity in anything that I look at. It's hard for me to have a moment to feel real. I used to have these breaks that I could take which I would use to center myself. They're not really here anymore and it's really hard to go to work and have a girlfriend and a family. And yet everyday I feel like I'm slowly falling into a pit of anxiety and worse like I'm losing my sanity. It's all replaced with he's over analytical. Thoughts? And they've actually become a cage to where I can't escape them. Everything is so logical to the point that it actually makes me want to hit my head against the wall to make them go away. The only thing I've never given up is my faith, this is my rock. Everything used to be clear to me and I could feel the glory of the Lord. And whenever I made some kind of connection when listening or reading, I would feel it like I didn't become more intelligent. But I finally just understood a universal truth and it was calming. I really want to feel that again. I hope you all have an amazing day
The mercies of the Lord never come to an end, they are new every morning. God is unlimited, He is an unending revelation. Reading again the book of Act, An event in Act chapter 8 jumped at me like something i have never read before: it was how Philip was "caught up" by the Spirit after the baptism of the Ethiopian. Philip was caught up and later found at Azotus. When I got to that passage, the Holy Spirit open my understanding. What happen here is a known occurrence among the ocultic in my own country. It brigs more reality to me about the spirituality of life. That life is spiritual is a truth the children of God needs to quickly understand, children of the world are wise and they have deep knowledge about the spirituality of life. Satan has no power of his own and he absolutely can not create anything, all he does is imitate what he see God do. In my clime, the disapperance of Philip is called "egbe". Children of the Light are the owner of all the spiritual power. The world is waiting for our manifestation. Peace unto you all
that passage says absolutely *_NOTHING_* about "the disapperance of Philip". Let me just add, as a Spirit-led disciple of Jesus Christ who walks daily in faith to care for elderly and infirm people in my circle of believers and my family and anyone who asks, I am never home. I am "snatched" up by the Spirit of the Lord to serve somewhere new _all the time!_ I rarely wake up in my own bed because I finish at one sister's home and am caught up to another. I have found myself in Arizona, Canada, northern and southern Michigan... all in service to The Lord and when my work is done, I am caught up and found in new places every couple of days and not a single person I have met would every use the word "disappearance" to refer to my service in The Spirit!

@@cj-zn9lg the only judgment you better worry about is the fact that YOU and your idle words are judged by the word of God which is the TRUTH. That passage says absolutely nothing about "the disappearance of Phillip"... you are defending a lie! "I say unto you, That every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment for by thy words thou shalt be justified, and by thy words thou shalt be condemned. He that rejects me, and receives not my words, has one that judges him: *_the word that I have spoken, the same shall judge him in the last day._* Jesus (Matt12:36-37, Jn 12:48)
*Chapter 55-Transformed by Grace* In the life of the disciple John true sanctification is exemplified. During the years of his close association with Christ, he was often warned and cautioned by the Saviour; and these reproofs he accepted. As the character of the Divine One was manifested to him, John saw his own deficiencies, and was humbled by the revelation. Day by day, in contrast with his own violent spirit, he beheld the tenderness and forbearance of Jesus, and heard His lessons of humility and patience. Day by day his heart was drawn out to Christ, until he lost sight of self in love for his Master. The power and tenderness, the majesty and meekness, the strength and patience, that he saw in the daily life of the Son of God, filled his soul with admiration. He yielded his resentful, ambitious temper to the molding power of Christ, and divine love wrought in him a transformation of character. AA 557.1 In striking contrast to the sanctification worked out in the life of John is the experience of his fellow disciple, Judas. Like his associate, Judas professed to be a disciple of Christ, but he possessed only a form of godliness. He was not insensible to the beauty of the character of Christ; and often, as he listened to the Saviour’s words, conviction came to him, but he would not humble his heart or confess his sins. By resisting the divine influence he dishonored the Master whom he professed to love. John warred earnestly against his faults; but Judas violated his conscience and yielded to temptation, fastening upon himself more securely his habits of evil. The practice of the truths that Christ taught was at variance with his desires and purposes, and he could not bring himself to yield his ideas in order to receive wisdom from heaven. Instead of walking in the light, he chose to walk in darkness. Evil desires, covetousness, revengeful passions, dark and sullen thoughts, were cherished until Satan gained full control of him. AA 557.2 John and Judas are representatives of those who profess to be Christ’s followers. Both these disciples had the same opportunities to study and follow the divine Pattern. Both were closely associated with Jesus and were privileged to listen to His teaching. Each possessed serious defects of character; and each had access to the divine grace that transforms character. But while one in humility was learning of Jesus, the other revealed that he was not a doer of the word, but a hearer only. One, daily dying to self and overcoming sin, was sanctified through the truth; the other, resisting the transforming power of grace and indulging selfish desires, was brought into bondage to Satan. AA 558.1 Such transformation of character as is seen in the life of John is ever the result of communion with Christ. There may be marked defects in the character of an individual, yet when he becomes a true disciple of Christ, the power of divine grace transforms and sanctifies him. Beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, he is changed from glory to glory, until he is like Him whom he adores. AA 559.1 John was a teacher of holiness, and in his letters to the church he laid down unerring rules for the conduct of Christians. *“Every man that hath this hope in him,”* he wrote, *“purifieth himself, even as He is pure.” “He that saith he abideth in Him ought himself also so to walk, even as He walked.” 1 John 3:3; 2:6.* He taught that the Christian must be pure in heart and life. Never should he be satisfied with an empty profession. As God is holy in His sphere, so fallen man, through faith in Christ, is to be holy in his sphere. AA 559.2 *“This is the will of God,” the apostle Paul wrote, “even your sanctification.” 1 Thessalonians 4:3.* The sanctification of the church is God’s object in all His dealings with His people. He has chosen them from eternity, that they might be holy. He gave His Son to die for them, that they might be sanctified through obedience to the truth, divested of all the littleness of self. From them He requires a personal work, a personal surrender. God can be honored by those who profess to believe in Him, only as they are conformed to His image and controlled by His Spirit. Then, as witnesses for the Saviour, they may make known what divine grace has done for them. AA 559.3 True sanctification comes through the working out of the principle of love. *“God is love; and he that dwelleth in love dwelleth in God, and God in him.” 1 John 4:16.* The life of him in whose heart Christ abides, will reveal practical godliness. The character will be purified, elevated, ennobled, and glorified. Pure doctrine will blend with works of righteousness; heavenly precepts will mingle with holy practices. AA 560.1 Those who would gain the blessing of sanctification must first learn the meaning of self-sacrifice. The cross of Christ is the central pillar on which hangs the *“far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory.” “If any man will come after Me,”* Christ says, *“let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow Me.” 2 Corinthians 4:17; Matthew 16:24.* It is the fragrance of our love for our fellow men that reveals our love for God. It is patience in service that brings rest to the soul. It is through humble, diligent, faithful toil that the welfare of Israel is promoted. God upholds and strengthens the one who is willing to follow in Christ’s way. AA 560.2 Sanctification is not the work of a moment, an hour, a day, but of a lifetime. It is not gained by a happy flight of feeling, but is the result of constantly dying to sin, and constantly living for Christ. Wrongs cannot be righted nor reformations wrought in the character by feeble, intermittent efforts. It is only by long, persevering effort, sore discipline, and stern conflict, that we shall overcome. We know not one day how strong will be our conflict the next. So long as Satan reigns, we shall have self to subdue, besetting sins to overcome; so long as life shall last, there will be no stopping place, no point which we can reach and say, I have fully attained. Sanctification is the result of lifelong obedience. AA 560.3 None of the apostles and prophets ever claimed to be without sin. Men who have lived the nearest to God, men who would sacrifice life itself rather than knowingly commit a wrong act, men whom God has honored with divine light and power, have confessed the sinfulness of their nature. They have put no confidence in the flesh, have claimed no righteousness of their own, but have trusted wholly in the righteousness of Christ. AA 561.1 So will it be with all who behold Christ. The nearer we come to Jesus, and the more clearly we discern the purity of His character, the more clearly shall we see the exceeding sinfulness of sin, and the less shall we feel like exalting ourselves. There will be a continual reaching out of the soul after God, a continual, earnest, heartbreaking confession of sin and humbling of the heart before Him. At every advance step in our Christian experience our repentance will deepen. We shall know that our sufficiency is in Christ alone and shall make the apostle’s confession our own: *“I know that in me (that is, in my flesh,) dwelleth no good thing.” “God forbid that I should glory, save in the cross of Our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom the world is crucified unto me, and I unto the world.”* *Romans 7:18; Galatians 6:14.* AA 561.2 Let the recording angels write the history of the holy struggles and conflicts of the people of God; let them record their prayers and tears; but let not God be dishonored by the declaration from human lips, *“I am sinless; I am holy.”* Sanctified lips will never give utterance to such presumptuous words. AA 561.3 The apostle Paul had been caught up to the third heaven and had seen and heard things that could not be uttered, and yet his unassuming statement is: *“Not as though I had already attained, either were already perfect: but I follow after.” Philippians 3:12.* Let the angels of heaven write of Paul’s victories in fighting the good fight of faith. Let heaven rejoice in his steadfast tread heavenward, and that, keeping the prize in view, he counts every other consideration dross. Angels rejoice to tell his triumphs, but Paul makes no boast of his attainments. The attitude of Paul is the attitude that every follower of Christ should take as he urges his way onward in the strife for the immortal crown. AA 562.1 Let those who feel inclined to make a high profession of holiness look into the mirror of God’s law. As they see its far-reaching claims, and understand its work as a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart, they will not boast of sinlessness. *“If we,”* says John, not separating himself from his brethren, *“say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.” “If we say that we have not sinned, we make Him a liar, and His word is not in us.” “If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.” 1 John 1:8, 10, 9.* *Acts of the Apostles 562.2*
There are those who profess holiness, who declare that they are wholly the Lord’s, *who claim a right to the promises of God, while refusing to render obedience to His Commandments.* These transgressors of the law claim everything that is promised to the children of God; but this is presumption on their part, for John tells us that true love for God will be revealed in obedience to all His commandments. It is not enough to believe the theory of truth, to make a profession of faith in Christ, to believe that Jesus is no impostor, and that the religion of the Bible is no cunningly devised fable. *“He that saith, I know Him, and keepeth not His commandments,”* John wrote, *“is a liar, and the truth is not in him. But whoso keepeth His word, in him verily is the love of God perfected: hereby know we that we are in Him.” “He that keepeth His commandments dwelleth in Him, and He in him.” 1 John 2:4, 5; **3:24**.* AA 562.3 John did not teach that salvation was to be earned by obedience; but that obedience was the fruit of faith and love. *“Ye know that He was manifested to take away our sins,”* he said, *“and in Him is no sin. Whosoever abideth in Him sinneth not: whosoever sinneth hath not seen Him, neither known Him.” 1 John 3:5, 6.* If we abide in Christ, if the love of God dwells in the heart, our feelings, our thoughts, our actions, will be in harmony with the will of God. The sanctified heart is in harmony with the precepts of God’s law. AA 563.1 There are many who, though striving to obey God’s commandments, have little peace or joy. This lack in their experience is the result of a failure to exercise faith. They walk as it were in a salt land, a parched wilderness. They claim little, when they might claim much; for there is no limit to the promises of God. Such ones do not correctly represent the sanctification that comes through obedience to the truth. The Lord would have all His sons and daughters happy, peaceful, and obedient. Through the exercise of faith the believer comes into possession of these blessings. Through faith, every deficiency of character may be supplied, every defilement cleansed, every fault corrected, every excellence developed. AA 563.2 Prayer is heaven’s ordained means of success in the conflict with sin and the development of Christian character. The divine influences that come in answer to the prayer of faith will accomplish in the soul of the suppliant all for which he pleads. For the pardon of sin, for the Holy Spirit, for a Christlike temper, for wisdom and strength to do His work, for any gift He has promised, we may ask; and the promise is, *“Ye shall receive.”* AA 564.1 It was in the mount with God that Moses beheld the pattern of that wonderful building that was to be the abiding place of His glory. It is in the mount with God-in the secret place of communion-that we are to contemplate His glorious ideal for humanity. In all ages, through the medium of communion with heaven, God has worked out His purpose for His children, by unfolding gradually to their minds the doctrines of grace. His manner of imparting truth is illustrated in the words, *“His going forth is prepared as the morning.” Hosea 6:3.* He who places himself where God can enlighten him, advances, as it were, from the partial obscurity of dawn to the full radiance of noonday. AA 564.2 True sanctification means perfect love, perfect obedience, perfect conformity to the will of God. We are to be sanctified to God through obedience to the truth. Our conscience must be purged from dead works to serve the living God. We are not yet perfect; but it is our privilege to cut away from the entanglements of self and sin, and advance to perfection. Great possibilities, high and holy attainments, are placed within the reach of all. AA 565.1 The reason many in this age of the world make no greater advancement in the divine life is because they interpret the will of God to be just what they will to do. While following their own desires, they flatter themselves that they are conforming to God’s will. These have no conflicts with self. There are others who for a time are successful in the struggle against their selfish desire for pleasure and ease. They are sincere and earnest, but grow weary of protracted effort, of daily death, of ceaseless turmoil. Indolence seems inviting, death to self repulsive; and they close their drowsy eyes and fall under the power of temptation instead of resisting it. AA 565.2 The directions laid down in the word of God leave no room for compromise with evil. The Son of God was manifested that He might draw all men unto Himself. He came not to lull the world to sleep, but to point out the narrow path in which all must travel who reach at last the gates of the City of God. His children must follow where He has led the way; at whatever sacrifice of ease or selfish indulgence, at whatever cost of labor or suffering, they must maintain a constant battle with self. AA 565.3 The greatest praise that men can bring to God is to become consecrated channels through whom He can work. Time is rapidly passing into eternity. Let us not keep back from God that which is His own. Let us not refuse Him that which, though it cannot be given with merit, cannot be denied without ruin. He asks for a whole heart; give it to Him; it is His, both by creation and by redemption. He asks for your intellect; give it to Him; it is His. He asks for your money; give it to Him; it is His. *“Ye are not your own, for ye are bought with a price.”* *1 Corinthians 6:19, 20.* God requires the homage of a sanctified soul, which has prepared itself, by the exercise of the faith that works by love, to serve Him. He holds up before us the highest ideal, even perfection. He asks us to be absolutely and completely for Him in this world as He is for us in the presence of God. AA 566.1 *“This is the will of God”* concerning you, *“even your sanctification.” 1 Thessalonians 4:3.* Is it your will also? Your sins may be as mountains before you; but if you humble your heart and confess your sins, trusting in the merits of a crucified and risen Saviour, He will forgive and will cleanse you from all unrighteousness. God demands of you entire conformity to His law. This law is the echo of His voice saying to you, Holier, yes, holier still. Desire the fullness of the grace of Christ. Let your heart be filled with an intense longing for His righteousness, the work of which God’s word declares is peace, and its effect quietness and assurance forever. AA 566.2 As your soul yearns after God, you will find more and still more of the unsearchable riches of His grace. As you contemplate these riches you will come into possession of them and will reveal the merits of the Saviour’s sacrifice, the protection of His righteousness, the fullness of His wisdom, and His power to present you before the Father *“without spot, and blameless.” 2 Peter 3:14.* AA 567.1

Easter -Strongs says of this word- UNFORTUNATELY ⬅️ there was a pagan holiday called Easter that was celebrated in that time. Easter is a tradition of man and has nothing to do with Christ or why Peter had returned to Jerusalem at the time when this word which only appears once mind you, UNFORTUNATELY made it into the scriptures.

And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.
Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock:

HEBREWS 4:12

Very nice!
Yes
⁶⁰ And he kneeled down, and cried with a loud voice, Lord, lay not this sin to their charge. And when he had said this, *he fell asleep.*
*-Acts 7:60*
Daniel 12:2:
MND 206.2
“Many of them that sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake.” Matthew 27:52: “Many bodies of the saints which slept arose.” Acts 7:60: After Stephen had beheld the vision of Christ, and was stoned to death, the record says he “fell asleep.
MND 206.3
MND 207.1
MND 207.2
4. The dead are not in heaven, nor in hell, but in the dust of the earth. Job 17:13-16: “If I wait, the grave is mine house.”
MND 208.1
In chap.
MND 208.2
MND 209.1
6. He says (verse 31), “He, seeing this before, spake of the resurrection of Christ, that his soul was not left in hell [hades, the grave], neither did his flesh see corruption.”
MND 210.1
And how does he prove that David speaks of Christ, and not of himself? So he himself says (Psalm 17:15): “I shall be satisfied when I awake [from the sleep of death] with thy likeness.”
MND 210.2
7. Then they also which are fallen asleep in Christ are PERISHED.”
MND 211.1
As we read this testimony, we pause in utter amazement, that any who profess to believe the Bible should cling with tenacity to the doctrine of the immortality of the soul, which so directly contradicts it.
MND 211.2
Paul speaks of the whole being.
MND 211.4
The testimony on this point is well summed up by Bishop Law, who speaks as follows:-
MND 212.1
“I proceed to consider what account the Scriptures give of that state to which death reduces us. And this we find represented by sleep; by a negation of all life, thought, or action; by rest, resting-place, or home, silence, oblivion, darkness, destruction, or corruption.”
MND 212.2
This representation is abundantly sustained by the scriptures referred to; and by all these the great fact is inscribed in indelible characters over the portals of the dark valley, that our existence is not perpetuated by means of an immortal soul, but that, without a resurrection from the dead, there is no future life.

*Chapter 55-Transformed by Grace*
In the life of the disciple John true sanctification is exemplified.
AA 557.1
In striking contrast to the sanctification worked out in the life of John is the experience of his fellow disciple, Judas.
AA 557.2
John and Judas are representatives of those who profess to be Christ’s followers.
AA 558.1
Such transformation of character as is seen in the life of John is ever the result of communion with Christ. There may be marked defects in the character of an individual, yet when he becomes a true disciple of Christ, the power of divine grace transforms and sanctifies him. Beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, he is changed from glory to glory, until he is like Him whom he adores.
AA 559.1
John was a teacher of holiness, and in his letters to the church he laid down unerring rules for the conduct of Christians.
AA 559.2
*“This is the will of God,” the apostle Paul wrote, “even your sanctification.” 1 Thessalonians 4:3.* The sanctification of the church is God’s object in all His dealings with His people.
AA 559.3
True sanctification comes through the working out of the principle of love.
AA 560.1
Those who would gain the blessing of sanctification must first learn the meaning of self-sacrifice.
AA 560.2
Sanctification is not the work of a moment, an hour, a day, but of a lifetime.
AA 560.3
None of the apostles and prophets ever claimed to be without sin.
AA 561.1
So will it be with all who behold Christ. We shall know that our sufficiency is in Christ alone and shall make the apostle’s confession our own: *“I know that in me (that is, in my flesh,) dwelleth no good thing.” “God forbid that I should glory, save in the cross of Our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom the world is crucified unto me, and I unto the world.”*
*Romans 7:18; Galatians 6:14.*
AA 561.2
Let the recording angels write the history of the holy struggles and conflicts of the people of God; let them record their prayers and tears; but let not God be dishonored by the declaration from human lips, *“I am sinless; I am holy.”* Sanctified lips will never give utterance to such presumptuous words.
AA 561.3
The apostle Paul had been caught up to the third heaven and had seen and heard things that could not be uttered, and yet his unassuming statement is: *“Not as though I had already attained, either were already perfect: but I follow after.” Philippians 3:12.* Let the angels of heaven write of Paul’s victories in fighting the good fight of faith.
AA 562.1
Let those who feel inclined to make a high profession of holiness look into the mirror of God’s law. As they see its far-reaching claims, and understand its work as a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart, they will not boast of sinlessness. *“If we,”* says John, not separating himself from his brethren, *“say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.” “If we say that we have not sinned, we make Him a liar, and His word is not in us.” “If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.” 1 John 1:8, 10, 9.*
*Acts of the Apostles 562.2*
But whoso keepeth His word, in him verily is the love of God perfected: hereby know we that we are in Him.” “He that keepeth His commandments dwelleth in Him, and He in him.” 1 John 2:4, 5; **3:24**.*
AA 562.3
John did not teach that salvation was to be earned by obedience; but that obedience was the fruit of faith and love.
AA 563.1
There are many who, though striving to obey God’s commandments, have little peace or joy.
AA 563.2
Prayer is heaven’s ordained means of success in the conflict with sin and the development of Christian character. The divine influences that come in answer to the prayer of faith will accomplish in the soul of the suppliant all for which he pleads. For the pardon of sin, for the Holy Spirit, for a Christlike temper, for wisdom and strength to do His work, for any gift He has promised, we may ask; and the promise is, *“Ye shall receive.”*
AA 564.1
It was in the mount with God that Moses beheld the pattern of that wonderful building that was to be the abiding place of His glory.
AA 564.2
True sanctification means perfect love, perfect obedience, perfect conformity to the will of God.
AA 565.1
The reason many in this age of the world make no greater advancement in the divine life is because they interpret the will of God to be just what they will to do.
AA 565.2
The directions laid down in the word of God leave no room for compromise with evil.
AA 565.3
The greatest praise that men can bring to God is to become consecrated channels through whom He can work. *“Ye are not your own, for ye are bought with a price.”*
*1 Corinthians 6:19, 20.* God requires the homage of a sanctified soul, which has prepared itself, by the exercise of the faith that works by love, to serve Him. He holds up before us the highest ideal, even perfection. He asks us to be absolutely and completely for Him in this world as He is for us in the presence of God.
AA 566.1
*“This is the will of God”* concerning you, *“even your sanctification.” 1 Thessalonians 4:3.* Is it your will also? Your sins may be as mountains before you; but if you humble your heart and confess your sins, trusting in the merits of a crucified and risen Saviour, He will forgive and will cleanse you from all unrighteousness. God demands of you entire conformity to His law. This law is the echo of His voice saying to you, Holier, yes, holier still. Desire the fullness of the grace of Christ. Let your heart be filled with an intense longing for His righteousness, the work of which God’s word declares is peace, and its effect quietness and assurance forever.
AA 566.2
As your soul yearns after God, you will find more and still more of the unsearchable riches of His grace. As you contemplate these riches you will come into possession of them and will reveal the merits of the Saviour’s sacrifice, the protection of His righteousness, the fullness of His wisdom, and His power to present you before the Father *“without spot, and blameless.” 2 Peter 3:14.*

Good happy Easter good people.
Wonderful day when it comes
Easter -Strongs says of this word-
UNFORTUNATELY ⬅️ there was a pagan holiday called Easter that was celebrated in that time. Easter is a tradition of man and has nothing to do with Christ or why Peter had returned to Jerusalem at the time when this word which only appears once mind you, UNFORTUNATELY made it into the scriptures.
Acts 19:15 - The demon spirits know. Jesus IS the King of kings, Lord of lords, forever to the glory of GOD The Father. Amen.

I didn't no Jesus got taken up
Yes remember God Almighty “The Father” raised him from the dead and then after so many days like it tell’s you here in the beginning in Acts Yeshua ascended to God Almighty “The Father”
That's why we will be too :) look up, cause He's coming back any moment now
Yes. He was God incarcerate part of the Trinity. He returned to the Father's right hand following His conquering of death
@@marty8722this why why we should not fear death or the persecution to come. He prepared us for endurance not for escape but engagement on the ground.
@@calebrandall3802 I am beginning to think that the Bible and Quran has been twisted and people are using the power of God to do what they want to do

Max McLean is Dramatically Horrible in His Narration... It Sounds That he Makes More Emphasis on His Voice Than The Message in The Word of God.. I Personally Enjoy Alexander Scourby and James Earl Jones...
