not only i was on a steamboat, but also we were lucky to see quite close a lady playing that steam calliope

That was special, sitting next to the lady playing the steam calliope. A great memory. I looked it up on TH-cam. Phew! That’s some beast.

We also went on a steam boat. A perfect trip up and down Mississippi. They had a jazz band onboard. They loved it when I asked them to play “Old Miss Rag.”
Visiting Norlins was on my bucket list.
