Wonderful vlog as ever. I am anxious to see what is ahead on your adventure. I just got my second shot, pfizer. So happy Rob got his shot. Have fun and be safe.
Hi Favor, We do have a camper that we ordered and waited 17 weeks for last summer/fall. We haven't used it yet except for one night in our driveway. We finally got it just before Thanksgiving and didn't leave because of a surgery issue with our grandson. He is well and fine. Anyway, we are still looking forward to our maiden trip, possibly during school break. We homeschool through the school district and are tied to a school schedule even though we are three weeks into retirement. We do have reservations on the coast in June. We live 3 hours inland, in far Northern California. Looking forward to our own journey and appreciate seeing your camping blogs. We did one cruise 5 years ago to Alaska. It was fantastic of course.
Sooo long to wait, I am glad you have it now. I am glad your grandson has recovered well, sending hugs! I sure hope you get to go for school break! The coast in June sounds wonderful! A 3 hour drive is not too bad, long enough to really feel like you are away but not so long that you dread having to make the drive home. I know you will love your own adventures! Thank you for watching! Hugs!
We have a camper my husband travels full time for work and we actually lived it ours for 6 yrs while traveling with before we came home to put the girls in schot
Have loads of fun! My husband and I got our vaccines and we are so excited to get out slowly. Glad Rob got his first shot and hopefully it will open up for you soon. That food looked so delicious 🤤. Adding my answer to your question. We don’t have a camper or want one right now. We like cruising or flying to places we have visited on cruise and staying awhile.
Hi y friend! I am so glad you both got your vaccine! I should be able to schedule late next week! Hopefully! YES! Love the idea of flying to past cruise stops! I cannot wiat until we can get out there again! Hugs my friend!
No camper for us but we just got a pontoon! Our house overlooks a lake so we decided after 5 canceled cruises that we needed to get a boat so we could still get out on the water! Looking forward to a great summer!
I’ve never seen one flip, thankfully but I have seen videos of it. Rob tows everyday for work so he is very used to the wind and pull. I’m grateful for his driving skills on windy days and in tight spots! It makes me so nervous when the wind is high! Hugs!

We drove through UT Arlington several times and drove past SMU, only once. I love college campuses, usually lots of history and so nostalgic! We really enjoy Dallas! Hugs my friend!

It much of a fan of flying but I want to go on Alaska cruise someday or Hawaii, so I will have to get on that airplane at some point. I hope you all had a great vacation.
You could always take the RV to Seattle and get on a cruise from there or San Francisco!! Hawaii on the other hand, yep have to fly unless you cruise to Hawaii from California!! I am not a fan of flying but eventually got accustomed to it but now that we have not flown in a year I am apprehensive again. So I understand! Rob had zero issues with his first shot, no side affects whatsoever. I hope you have the same result, and me too for that matter! :) It will be such an adjustment getting back into life as we knew it. Big hugs my friend!

We don't have a camper but we want one. Hopefully in the next few years. Heading to Galveston to stay in a beach house for a week at the end of July. I can't wait.
That pizza restaurant looked fantastic 🍕. Yum! Have fun. We just got back from St Augustine koa. We had a spot right on the little lake . Camping there was so much fun. Camping 🏕.

Haven't tried living in a RV/camper since I am claustrophobic, I would need to stay in a really big one. The bathrooms and bedrooms always seem really small. I'll just continue to enjoy traveling with you and Rob. 🏞🌅🌇
I am claustrophobic, poor Rob learned that the hard way once when he blocked me in our closet and I freaked out! Poor man, he learned very quickly! So did I, I never really realized it until that moment. The shower, yep... cannot be tiny! Ours is 36x36 so I feel okay but the sliding door on it.. when we were looking at it for the first time I stepped in the shower and then pulled the sliding door closed and didn't know how to open it...lets just say it was very uncomfortable and my heart still picks up a beat when I get in it now. Long story to say I completely understand! I suggest opposing slides in the living room and possibly a bedroom slide in a camper/RV/5th Wheel and no shorter than 28 feet. I found that to be about as small as I could go, ours is 28 feet inside. Hugs my friend!
Glad that Rob was able to get the vaccine. I'm getting my second shot of Moderna next week. I think once you are able to get it you will feel a lot better about going out and about. Love the vlogs.
So glad you are so close to your second shot! Yay! Yes, I will feel so much better once me and the boys are vaccinated. So ready for this to be over, well as over as it will ever be. Hugs!
Hey friend! How did Rob feel after his vaccine? I do want to purchase a camper one day but am not sure which kind yet.... so many choices lol can’t wait to see more of your trip :)
Hi my friend! Rob had zero issues, no pain, soreness or anything. He did vlog it. I will have it up asap! I was going to wait for his second shot but I'll just post two videos. It was really hard to choose the floorplan of our camper. We looked at so many and watched tours online.. so. many.tours. Once you find the length/weight you are comfortable with it will narrow it down, then you will have fewer choices. Maybe rent a camper or two to try different layouts. Hugs! Thank you so much for watching!
Another travel vlog I watch they just purchased and Rv, and they bought what is call led a sewer saddle, it’s a weighted bag that goes over the sewer drain to insure it does not come unhooked. Not sure if you have seen them.
I have not seen them, thank you! I have seen people use rocks and other objects but I can tell you I stand there with my foot on it just so we don't have any issues! I will google the saddle, thank you! Hugs!

WTG Rob, on the 1st vax. Hope you experience no, to minimal, side effects, from both. NJ still a MESS for the vaccine - I'm in a big retirement area, so NUMEROUS seniors ALL over, and they just did not bring the supply, or bring anything really close, to me. Those that have been lucky enough to get it have had to spend HOURS in the middle of the night on their computers, or rely on volunteer groups to help them "stalk the internet" for an appointment. And then many have had to drive around an hour - ONE WAY - just to get the shot. And unless you get J&J (which, from what i understand, is not being widely distributed around here yet), you then have to do this drive TWICE. Since I don't drive, that would men not only subjecting myself to being in a car with somebody for at least 2 hours, and, of course, paying for that long ride and back (twice), plus any wait time at the max vaccination site, which could be substantial. So - I am holding off until it becomes more easily obtainable locally - could be a month or two, but I'm OK with that. Always have to remind myself that you're in TX, when I see cows - especially SO MANY like in this vlog. You might see them in more rural parts of the NorthEast, but usually not like that! :) Funny thing is - I used to work on a farm in Virginia, when I lived there for 18 months, and 1 of the things I had to do was feed the cows. Farm work is hard labor, honey!! I LOVE those pickled banana peppers on my sandwiches - just had them last night!! Glad you could find a place with so many gluten-free options for you - and treat yo'self with the non-keto - you've been through a lot, you deserve it!! Everything looked DELICIOUS!! Can't wait to see the rest of this series. Carol and Donna - cool - was wondering if it was them!!! So glad ya'll can be together!!! Socially distanced hugs from New Jersey to you and Rob, Gramma, the whole family, and all the gorgeous fur babies! Stay strong, stay positive, stay healthy!!
I am so sorry the vaccine situation is so bad there. Here there is a hug wait and hard to get appointments but they set up a wait list so you sign up for that and they call/text/email you when the vaccines come in and you schedule your appointment. I was doing like you mentioned and staying up trying to get a slot for Rob and the boys but never had any luck. Thankfully the wait list worked. I am not eligible yet, soon. I don't blame you for waiting but I feel there should be closer options for you, especially in a senior community. Most seniors do not drive, that was considered here I am sorry it is not in your area. You worked on a farm! Wow you have dome so many things! That is awesome. That was only a tiny fraction of the cows, we called it the cow road trip because we literally saw thousands along the way. Grayson had his scan today, no cancer! He just has blood clots but can be treated with more medications, for the remainder of his life but at least he can live a normal life span. Now for Little Bit, his is next week. Hugs my friend, I am catching up on emails tomorrow. We have literally been non stop. Grandma was in the hospital again, it was a rough few days around here for the family. I am so sorry for my delay! Hugs!

Hey Favor & Robert - dinner looked yummy (even if it is gluten free - lol!) I hope you get an appointment very soon. I am so ready to get it over with! I am with you on the cruising, I miss it so much and cannot wait to go back but not until it is safe. Hugs my friend!
@@LifeWithFavor - I have not traveled anyway since last March - had several cruises canceled- & I am 64 yrs old & high risk with autoimmune issues (and using an immune suppressant medication- Dupixent - for my severe atopic dermatitis/eczema - so I’ve stayed home for 12 months - I need to stay safe & need to keep others safe - yes I wear my mask - even to walk Bubba & Princess)!

Hugs!
@@LifeWithFavor "Real life and family ALWAYS take precedence! Hope all gets better with Gramma SOON! HUGE hugs to all!! Good news on Grayson, good luck next week with Little Bit!
Hey Favor & Robert - dinner looked yummy (even if it is gluten free - lol!)
I have done RVing in my earlier years - it was never my favorite way to vacation - I’m more of a hotel type person - but best vacations are always cruises - and I’ve got my fingers crossed 🤞🏻 that I’ll be cruising again soon (although I’m still waiting to get vaccinated- I’m eligible but haven’t been able to get an appointment)!
I hope you get an appointment very soon.
@@bbergs8628 Hugs my friend. I am glad you have decided to put your health first. My son had his vaccine last week, finally! I am still worried about him but at least now he has a better chance. Hugs to you, Bubba and Princess!
Are we going to see Carl and Donna?
Maybe briefly here and there, it was so great to see them. Hugs!
I am eyeing renting an rv for a road trip this summer since i cant get on a cruise ship!
Of course I encourage you to go for it! Best thing we have done while waiting to cruise. Cruise America has little Class C's we see everywhere! Maybe check them out, we have not tried them but do see them often! Hugs!
Hi favor

Prefer to cruise, too but while we wait so happy to have the camper! Love your Springdale! Hugs!
