    This video is really helpful in understanding chop chords. Still hate the sound of chop chords, but it is beneficial to understand the how and why of things you dislike as well as things you like. 🙂🙃

    Find your explanations very helpful. Love the discussion of options and reasons for choices versus just do this or that. Great for thinking about what I'm doing and what I want to do and how to get there. 👍

    Years of trying - cant get a chop sound .I give up ,go back to it. I see small girls getting it with ease - sooo frustrating .

    I would love to be good at the mandolin, but I cant reach these (esp G) I have big hands but my little finger navigates in the way .. Its a nightmare !!

    I get chop on open strings by muting with my palm. Works in a pinch
