Nah. I think he loved the Lions way more than the Panthers. Mainly bc he started from the bottom with them, and he had a profound affect on Vince. He changed his entire life.
You know, watching the series again, it seems that in the very early episodes of season 1, Smash and Tim disliked each other. Anyone think the rivalry between Vince and Luke was the writers trying to bring that back?
My favorite will always be the homecoming episode. When he has them in his office, saying, “you guys know I have a pep rally to organize, I have a game to get ready for, a family to raise, a wife to love and instead I have to deal with you two bozos.”
That's just how it works sometimes. You could set a whole bunch of records on a state championship winning team and still not get any D1 interest just because you don't have certain measurables that lots of programs look for in recruits.
@@ryanfitzpatrick6971 Matt didn’t play qb his senior year … he played wide out after being benched … that’s why . Tim didn’t have the grades and he had the off field issues . However he could of def been offered a better D1 school .
I disagree with Luke being the problem of trying to stay at West Dillon. He’s still a kid and was just wanting to stay at the school that he’s been attending with his friends.
Coach taylor could never love Luke and Vince the way he loved Matt and riggins
Of course Matt pulled QB full spread on Julie.. it was tight but Matt pulled the full spread coverage. Riggins was great coach while sipping a brewski
Only thing Vince did was make Julie run a BBC spread. Audible Audible
TD Saracen

Coach Taylor loved Vince and Luke like a brother-in-law.

It’s crazy how luke was a 2 way stud football player and the story line had him get a few D3 offers …

Yeah what the other guy said, Gives us some realism in the show which I strive for from it.
He got injured during Season 4. Maybe the better colleges thought he wouldn't be as good after that.

Luke: “I don’t play defense coach”
Also Luke: star linebacker
6:25 - 6:40..... amazing 😂😂😂😂
That was easily the best part 😂
‘’Why is it im always talking to you, i spend half my life talking to you’’ - Coach
Coach’s football family will always be S1 and S2 panthers
Where's the clip where Coach tells Smash to go all the way?
Get a life
Griner became a football coach after nam his angry look guess goldman trained him well
You mean "Luke's and Vince's".
Wow
Yeah, Kyle Chandler can really lay into you when he wants to. I guess not knowing the future scores in the paper can make you cranky.
