Thorpe Park is one of the few theme parks in the UK (or anywhere outside of North America, especially the US) that I've been to. Whether you're from the UK, the US, or somewhere else, this review will help you plan your trip to the park or help you decide whether or not to go at all.

Just a little correction, Saw’s drop isn’t the steepest in the UK, Mumbo Jumbo has one that is steeper at 112 degrees whilst Saw’s is 100 degrees. Hyperia also isn’t the longest in the UK. Great video btw!
Thanks! I didn’t know about Mumbo Jumbo, but that’s a fun name for a ride.
I went a few days after you and was really lucky in it being silent (for Thorpe) as swarm was on a 10 min like all day and before I’ve waited 120 and least 70. What you said about single rider line is especially true for us as we had no idea what was going on in the saw queue but it did turn out quicker then the main queue. I do love Thorpe though, I love how they do a little bit more with theme then just the average amusment park
Oh yeah, UK theme parks are school trips galore in July. I usually avoid parks in July/August.
Just to note, stealth is now the fastest accelerating coaster in the world since do dodonpa closed.
Maxx force is faster because while it reaches a lower speed, it does it faster than stealth reaches its higher speed, therefore making it the faster accelerating coaster
@@Thrills_And_Chills_WQAQ They are both 1.8...
@@oscarsmusiclab7201 maxx is 1.78. Additionally stealth most likely doesn’t do 0-80 in 1.8 as detailed in this reddit thread. www.reddit.com/r/rollercoasters/s/CMF8lQxGBo
@@Thrills_And_Chills_WQAQ They are both 1.8 seconds (although stealth used to be 2.3 seconds). Stealth does 80mph in that time, and Maxx force does 78mph. These are the numbers stated by each park, and there is a debate on which coaster truly accelerates faster, as obviously parks can lie so there is a very possible chance that Maxx force does accelerate faster. However, going off of what we know from the parks, stealth accelerates faster. There are some reddit threads on the topic which are a very interesting read.
@@Thrills_And_Chills_WQAQ Also just to add to this. Even if the time for Maxx force was 1.78 seconds and it goes 0-78 mph in that time, the acceleration would only be 19.59m/s^2. With stealth going 0-80mph in 1.8 seconds the acceleration is 19.87m/s^2.
Great video! Sounds like a great park! I really enjoyed watching this!
Swarm is the second best in the park, shame you didn’t get to do it.
Great video.
The Big One is the UK’s (and Europes) longest coaster and Mumbo Jumbo is the steepest.
Hyperia is definitely the best though.
Hyperia’s lore is that the goddess became fearless by flying over the water and facing her fears, and that now it your turn to face your fears and overcome them
I think you would have found the theming around The Swarm very impressive compared to the other coasters at the park if you managed to get on it. The theming is more on a European scale!
You also have to consider the reasonable entry price of UK parks such as Thorpe Park. I have 3 kids and can take a family of 5 to Thorpe park (buying advanced tickets, not gate prices) for £35-40 pp at peak times. Parks in, for example Florida you can pay $500-700 for one day entry for a family of 5.
Hyperia is the most weightless in the UK
Nice review of Thorpe Park.
Definitely should have tried to get a full day especially at this time of year
Awesome video but i would enjoy some ytps
please go to PNE Playland In Vancouver
You sabotaged yourself by giving yourself only 4 hours inferno is great swarm is tame it’s my favourite in the UK as towers has a lackluster lineup for thrills
