I've never tried Marmite!
I’m just
Glad the gloves fit you mate. Dispenser looks well on your wall. Thanks for the shout out.
Cheers buddy
GREAT TO SEE YOU ROB. THE GLOVE HOLDER LOOKS GREAT. THATS A NICE GLUE GUN BUDDY
Cheers buddy ! Glove holder will come in very handy 😃
I havent had one bad parkside tool , and i own quite a few two types of multi tool , drill sander track saw and a few others i forgot... 😂 lathe is interesting especially for £70 ... i hope the welder come back in at some point. If i didnt have a few glue guns i would grab this ...
you must have a few ifyou’ve forgotten some 🤣👍I really haven’t had a bad experience yet also 🤞 I’ve heard mixed reviews on the lathe.. I think certainly worth a gamble as a hobbyist. Cheers Rob
Hi Rob, not bad a glue gun for £4, I bought two glue guns about 10-12 years ago from Poundland when you could buy stuff for a pound, they are still working well I don't use them all the time but do the job. No car boot today it was cancelled "gutted " Your glove dispenser made by Brett looks good, have a good Easter mate
Shane about car boot., one got cancelled here… happy Easter mate !
Been thinking of one of the wood lathes for a while
I’m going to watch some reviews first.. but certainly seems good value mate
I did the same thing I bought another glue gun couldn’t find the old one and it was small like yours so I’ve got loads of 10mm glue sticks and new one 7mm but live and learn or pay to learn as my dad used to say! lol
Glad I’m not the only one buddy 👍😂 great saying from your dad 👌😉 cheers Rob
Gotcha I must get one
😉🔨👍
Lmao, I did the opposite, bought the Parkside 11mm gun and grabbed the gluesticks next to it without looking. I now have about 30 7mm useless sticks 😆
😂😂👍
Thanks for the evaluation of the glue gun Rob. Well worth it! Is Marmite similar to Vegemite?
Cheers mate, some may say so., to me slightly different in taste
Tried Vegemite and did not like it at all. Marmite on the other hand is delish!
@@Cheordigmarmite all the way 👍👍
for that money......cant go wrong..... I have the same label machine..... they are fab! I still have my oldschool dymo too....i like the wobbly letters but they stick to nowt!
I’ve been using that dymo more and more over the last few weeks.. I’m trying to get organised 🤣..cheers mate
Get The Lathe !!!
I’m still debating mate., going to do some research first 👍
Get a new 11 mm with a long nozzle. I have a Bosch and it's super handy. The long nozzle is really a game changer.
I’ll definitely check it out mate 👍👍
I just bought the Lathe it looks like good fun for the price although haven't used it yet. I was looking at that glue gun in Lidl seems a real bargain! Not sure how they make profit for that price or maybe it's just to get people in the store!
😃Please let me know how you get on with the lathe mate , cheers Rob
I have a full size Parkside glue gun which is excellent.
😃👍 great , thanks for the heads up , cheers
Cheers Rob, don't worry, size isn't everything, as long as it does the business ! 😉
🤣🤣😉👍cheers
The smaller size makes me think it's more for crafters than DIY.
Shares the common problem of cable making it lose balance, I made mine a small stand similar to the kind of thing you might have for a soldering iron
I think you’re right on crafters Andy , I was thinking of a magnet on the stand resting on a metal plate .. but I like your idea, cheers mate
😃👍
😉👍
The lathe is a deathtrap, I suggest not getting it. I read the reviews, thought 'surely it can't be that bad' - it is. It's mostly thin aluminium and plastic. I made two small bowls and then got rid of it. It's a major accident waiting to happen. I'm sure some people get by with it, but for a beginner, it's tempting but dangerous.
No to the marmite but yes to a lathe👍 but definitely not the parkside one not very good reviews. Better off buying second hand first and see how you get on .
Cheers Rod.. yeah I think I’ll do some research first , marmite all day for me 🤣👍
Why didn't you fix the original gun??
You're not a real sheddie if you don't at least attempt to fix things😁
Sometimes somethings can’t be fixed
4 quid.... that's why he didnt fix it 😂 . Couldn't get parts for that price
Being in Australia Marmite isn't a thing we go foe Vegemite 👌👌🦘🦘🪃🪃
I brought Vegemite back when I was in Oz last year.. it’s almost the same, I like them both.. Vegemite (to me) has a slightly sharper taste, cheers Rob
