1. Choose a Category.
2. Name a thing of that category and hit the timer button.
3. Keep naming until timer runs out.
4. The one whos timer hits first loses.
5. If you get stuck or don't know anything of that category, you can fake it by bluffing something random.
6. The opponent can keep playing or catch your bluff(fake answer). Hitting the red button is catching the opponent bluff.
7. If the opponent wrongly catches it, they lose. If the bluff is caught and it isn't part of the named category, opponent wins.
8. Tina Fey needs to be the opponent to make this game as fun as it looks.

+Kohl Methven I can't vouch for your reasoning in the comment section, but to reply to your main post, it's probably because if they really wanted to name all the cheeses, they'd be there all night. So if one cheese type is said, you can't say any others of that type. For instance, if one person said "cheddar" there are many different kinds of cheddar, but if someone said "mild cheddar" or "sharp cheddar" it wouldn't count because cheddar was already used. The game Scattergories works in a similar way.
+ TheShauNanigans I agree that it isn't realistic to name every cheese but to say that one type of goat cheese invalidates every other type of goat cheese can be directly translated to cows. Drunken Goat cheese is not the same as Chevre. It isn't the same as two different types of the same cheese, it is two different cheeses.

Chevre is one type of (soft, spreadable) goat cheese. Many types of cheese are made from goat milk. Drunken Goat sounds more like a brand than type of cheese (but with artisan cheeses, I could be wrong!) anyway, love both of these ladies. I wanted to see 'cocktails'. That would have been epic!
In french, chèvre means goat, that's right, but means goat's cheese too. So Rachel Maddow was right.
