      @@Latebloomershow I hope you move to somewhere that you grow to love even more than you do the place you're in. Maybe more space to garden and leave the powdery mildew behind. ❤

    concrete urbanite is also great for patios, my dad built several patios with broken up sidewalk pieces... it was laid out like a flagstone patio... looked great... he used wide concrete grout and we used those as roads for out little people towns... good times

    Good night smart and beautiful, well it appears that when I see a beautiful flower I am just compelled to describe it, and that's why I say all the time that you are an angel in full bloom, so keep smiling that beautiful healing smile, and GOD BLESS your precious loving heart 😇🌹🦋🦜🐞

    Hi, I live in the southern Caribbean and it's great to see you have rosell, we call it sorrel here in Trinidad and it quite popular around Christmas.
    Just boil the petals with a little clove, spice, orange rind and ginger, allow to cool and sweeten to taste, serve with ice on a hot day and it's so refreshing.

      Thank you! She has the space for it, I just don't. Wish I did, though. The Phoenix garden group are such creative growers, finding ways to grow plants you wouldn't think would survive in that searing heat.

    I've been so busy just trying to keep the veggies alive I've ignored aesthetics. Her garden is so creative and beautuful. Now I want to repaint my chicken coop and install a window box!

    Hi Kaye: How do I meet other gardeners here in the Northeast? New York?

    • @Latebloomershow
      @Latebloomershow  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey, Dan, first thing is to put a realistic photo of yourself on your channel profile, so when you comment, people will know you are serious about gardening and what you look like (some people just don't want to put their photo on so put on a nice photo of something you've grown. Next, I would join a couple of good garden groups on Google+ (join and post on plus.google.com/b/105303031879306257194/communities/115113804581552649466 and ask if anyone is in upstate NY - these gardeners are all urban gardeners, but you could also join and ask if anyone is in upstate). If you are on facebook, check out facebook.com/StonecropGardens/ or if not, their website: www.stonecrop.org/ and visit. I have no doubt if you visit (New York is a big state so maybe not be close to you), you will connect with people visiting who are gardeners or find a resource there. Now, if it's closed due to being deep winter up there, you might just post on their FB page and ask to be connected to gardeners in your area. Meanwhile, you can join Gardening Worldwide on Facebook: facebook.com/groups/1749506685300831/ which is mostly gardeners in England, but a lot of them will be in your zone and you can get ideas of what will do well. I hope this is helpful! :) Thanks for watching! If any of my subscribers let me know they are in New York, I'll let you know!
