Elijah Muhammad didn't have the oratorical skill that Malcolm and he certainly didn't have his charisma. Malcolm had a magnetic energy that drew people to him. You couldn't help but the love the guy. And I think that stirred up a lot of insecurity within Elijah and other top level leaders within the NOI.

I recently watched a Netflix documentary called "Who killed Malcolm X" and it was so extremely interesting to watch. It was separated in multiple parts and it had lot of information that I hadn't heard.
