Excellent review thank you. I'm tempted to buy a used 2 litre 190 PS diesel automatic version as I tow a caravan. Second hand in the UK they are great value for money. I like the design, but think it does look like a large hatchback, rather than an SUV style. An overgrown Focus comes to mind? The interior quality is not up to the standard of a similar VW Tiguan or Volvo XC60, but the Kuga is a lot cheaper and has a much lower insurance rating here in the UK. I think I'll try a test drive in the Kuga, Tiguan and Volve XC60 before I decide which to choose.
I’ve just bought a new VW Golf 1.5eTSi Style DSG, but in 2023 when I get my next car i might get a SUV, I will definitely add the Ford Kuga to my list along with the next generation VW Tiguan, just been told my Golf is built so I’m looking forward to it being delivered!😀
That’s cool to hear:) when is the delivery for the Golf and which color did you choose?
And yes in SUV’s you do have a better view on the road and it’s easier to get in/out hence why so many people are buying them these days
@@crospotter13 I don’t have an exact delivery date but it’s definitely this month, I need to speak with my VW dealer to get the specifics, I chose Dolphin Grey, I think the Golf looks really good in that colour. I don’t normally go for Fords but this new Kuga looks really good, I’m normally a VW guy so I’ll be comparing it to the next Tiguan.

Yes this Kuga for me even reminds me on Aston Martin DBX from the front (grille & lights). There is a POV drive during the day coming tommorrow on the channel so stay tuned :)
Vw tiguan way better trust me these kugas are bad the old one is okay but a vw toguan is better
Nice video! Just a question: the colors of the virtual cockpit seems, to me, to much bright for a night drive. I mean, do you think they get your eyes tired over an hour drive?
thanks :) Regarding the digital cockpit - nope it's normal maybe just on camera it seems that way, also there are settings for brightness

It turns off the engine when stationary to save fuel and to be more efficient. For me it’s a bit of annoying thing as it constantly turns on/off during the city drive, and with diesel engines you also feel that the engine starts again (with petrol ones it’s not that noticable) so I always turn that system off

Have you ever drove the 1.5L diesel? I’m talking to a dealer currently and I’ve been offered two different coloured 1.5L diesels in the ST line X and spec and a 2.0L diesel in the same spec but there’s £70 a month difference in price so I’m wondering how the 1.5L drives?

Hi there, I drive the 1.5 L diesel Ford Kuga which is also in the ST line - X spec. I have an automatic and the car runs smoothly. Sometimes when travelling on the motorway, and you put your foot down to accelerate to either overtake or merge in a lane, you might find that it is a tad laggy, but certainly not something that would stop me from buying a 1.5 L diesel in the future. I’m curious as to whether you chose the 1.5 L or 2.0 L variant. Take care. 👍
@@IMetLadyGaga Thats interesting, I've been offered a KUGA 2 litre diesel hybrid st line x and a 1.5 petrol kuga st line x , both the same price, not sure what to go for to be honest as im not sure whether to touch a diesel, only thing is the 1.5 petrol sounds like it may be laggy like you say, i have a 140ps fiesta st line and don't want to go to a car that is a lot less powerful. let me know what you think, cheers bud

when you choose gasoline all motor has big like 2.5
Actually Ford faild when it comes to mild hybrid technology, pretty much all engines with this solution use more fuel than traditional counterparts. when it comes to Kuga - 2.0 150HP version with mild hybrid uses pretty much as much fuel as 2.0 190HP +AWD+automatic gearbox but without mild hybrid system.

IV BIN WAITING 10 months for a build date? Anyone else having this problem? Apparently they got no parts. I was told 6/8 months

@@crospotter13 - No mate. Night driving, is NOT in a city, with streetlamps. You need to get out, on the really dark roads, where there is NO light at all.
