She got a part in a star wars movie, thus pissing off that type of racist, and then called out the lack of respectible roles for non white actors in the UK due to the popularity (or chosen focus given how much is funded by the government) of period dramas where the only roles available are ones where she'd be "racially abused" and that really set off a much larger group of racists.
