People are arguing on Twitter Nola Mardi Gras vs. Mobile Mardi Gras. And this parade looks like doesn't compare to the smallest parade in the smallest parish in Louisiana.

In the decades that followed, New Orleans and other French settlements began marking the holiday with street parties, masked balls and lavish dinners.
