I was at a show, on Sept 27th, less than three weeks before this. It was in Toronto at a very similar venue called the Guvernment. He was even wearing the same clothes. I was about 20 feet from the stage. It is the most memorable show of my life.
@@DeathOfAParty After meeting him in November 1980 (at his invitation), he and his wonderful PA Coco, would always make sure I had tickets to every show he did in and around NYC. He invited me backstage when he played with NIN at the Meadowlands in NJ. Let's just say, he knew who I was...:)
Saw him at the Academy Manchester on this tour. That was very intimate. More surprising was the direct rip of the TV production of Mike Mansfield Supersonic TV show 22yrs previously.
WOW Am I HAPPY I found this video! This is thousands of times better than any other one I've seen. I was at this show as a guest of David's and of course I was sooooo damn glad to be there! Thank you for posting this...Too bad this isn't available on DVD because I would surely buy it!
