Loved this series, both teams were just stellar and nothing short of it. I know Mizzou was fighting for this but from watching this video, you can just see and hear it from the Blue Devils all game, especially from their main pitcher (very passsionate and animated) - she wanted that W bad and for her team to go to OKC for the WCWS.
Agreed and excellent adjustment by the Blue Devils for doing it immediately, you could tell that little scramble trying to collect the ball that could have been an out sent that pitcher who has been doing God's work all night into a little panic mode.
The team that depends on ONE pitcher rarely gets pass the Regionals and that ONE usually fades in the Supers. There are exceptions, but they are exceptions. If the bats aren't there, that team is out. Thanks, Matt. We appreciate you.
