  • Watch my chemotherapy movie, a documentary where I take you with me and show you how a cycle is done for my colon cancer with liver metastases. How is chemotherapy done? How long it lasts? how it works? how do you feel and what are the side effects of a Folfox Iri + Avastin chemotherapy cycle to heal colon cancer with liver metastases?

Complimenti, sto imparando anch’io cose nuove! Attendo il secondo tempo!

Very interesting! Do you have the room to yourself? No one else with you? My chemo room is usually filled with people. Also, I have to get my blood analyzed the day before. If I forget (which I sometimes do ☹️), my infusion is changed to the next day.
I don’t get dry ice before the port is accessed, but I can get a numbing cream. Fortunately, it doesn’t really hurt when the needle goes in, so I don’t use it.
Do you always have to remove your shirt when the nurse accesses your port? For me (and other patients in the same clinic), the nurse just pushes my shirt to the side. I make sure to wear a tee shirt with a loose neckline (wide opening).

Thanks! Yes, I have the room for myself. I guess it just depends on the clinic. I know of many others who have been sharing the room. I am getting the blood tests on the same morning. Why are they taking your blood the day before? Dry ice has "saved me" with all the injections I have been receiving. They are not so painful, but dry ice makes them even smoother ;-)

@@TumorwithHumor Good question! I don't know why. Perhaps because the blood analysis is done by a hospital instead of the doctor's office (where I get my infusion)? The hospital has multiple locations (labs) where I can get my blood drawn, which is helpful. There's a lab in my doctor's office, but I usually go to a different lab that is closer to my house and has longer hours. The next time I get an infusion, I will ask about getting dry ice. :-)
