Lol! Maybe…? But I doubt it. He’s the front man and the talent of almost every band he’s ever been in. He also stands alone often on stage performing acoustic sets. Hard to do if stricken with social anxiety…kudos to him if he does and goes out there anyways.👍 He mainly just doesn’t act all pretentious (read:’douchey’) like so many other lead singers/guitarists. He and Mark just act like regular friendly guys; even though they are both immensely talented musicians and songwriters. He does use alot of self-deprecating humour to ease others comfort levels in his company, and freely admits to acting goofy or nerdy alot; which is an endearing quality to have. Some of the ‘nicest’ guys in music right there!
@@RB-oc7ti he often talked about his anxieties in interviews. Mark also. Thats why they spent a lot of time practising guitar. Like James Hetfield - you would never guess that he was the shy guy when they started Metallica. Those guys lose their anxiety on stage and on top of that: it even makes them better.
@@RB-oc7ti plenty of performers have social anxiety or other mental health issues that they mask when performing. Look at Mike Patton, the equivalent of a musical god known for his bombastic stage performances, who had to cancel the last Faith No More performances due to exacerbations of agoraphobia.
Love this album! Fable, Last Man Standing, and This is War are my favourites (of the moment). I find that with this amazing band my idea of favourite changes as I listen to the album more. Absolutely love everything Alter Bridge.

I like the dichotomy of Mark and Myles. I see Mark as a slightly conservative guy and Myles as certainly a left leaning guy. Mark as a Christian and Myles as a “spiritual “ guy 😂 - the two together make great music.
Myles never specifically says what his lyrics mean to him. He’d rather not mess with fan’s personal interpretations. IMO the song is a bit about regret, but also redemption. And the protagonist trying to pass on his life experience to a child or young protege to not waste time making the same mistakes he did. Don’t let fear prevent you from taking action or doing/trying things you want to do. Otherwise you create your own mental prison and stay stuck.
Don’t agree, but ur obviously entitled to your opinion. To me this is better than Walk the Sky. The Last Hero shouldn’t be included in any kind of shade against this awesome band’s discography. Killer tracks all the way through, and it is a better album IMO than One Day Remains - which was more a collection of singles than a complete album. They still sounded a bit like Creed in that one and hadn’t yet found their sound. (Btw - I like ODR) This new album sounds big and epic like classic AB!👍

This album sits in a safe space between Fortress and Blackbird for me personally...Fortress was just a fucking Masterpiece
Fortress is a masterpiece. It all came together for them on that one imo. It may not be topped but this new one is top 3 for me.
Despite Blackbird is the top 1 for me, I love Fortress. Its like they are two sides of the same story.
Fortress is one of the greatest rock albums of all time. Not just in the AB catalogue.
Pawns and Kings is def top 3 alter bridge album. Fortress is probably 1, followed by Blackbird or P and K. So tough to choose bw those 3 albums

These guys legitimately work hard on their songs and their own skills as musicians and artists - they really don't half-ass any of it.

I have friends who are left and right and I could care less about left or right. But we still get along.
