Jeon is a warrior. She knew she is the last Korean woman standing. She gave her all.

Deep push into Ito works. Spin the hell out of the ball works. Then it’s how you can return Ito’s serves. So difficult to do well. Congratulations to Jeon!

Well played Jeon. Until the last set Mima Ito also played pretty well. But there were a lot of wild swings, and mostly misses. When I see her mother as coach I think: Mima chan, you really have stopped listening to constructive criticism.

Mima was a tiger in the 1st set!
But couldn't keep that hurricane wave to the very end.

I cringed every time he said “mima chan”. Please stop.

@@glenn7484 Adam likes to show off his Japanese language proficiency. However, the poor man is wrong. Japanese don't call a girl 'chan' which means Mister(Mr.) Just like in America, if a girl named Amy Smith, you don't refer her as 'Mr. Amy'.

@@michaelshaw2786 where did you get such an idea? I mean, you may have heard this somewhere and believed it was true, but it’s really wide of the mark. You’re probably thinking of the suffix ‘-san’, which is translated as ‘mister’ when used for a male, but which is equally used for females. -chan, on the other hand, is a suffix that expresses familiarity or friendliness, and is more often to address females than males.

@@michaelshaw2786 "chan" does not mean "Mr" at all. You're just making a fool of yourself LOL

@@michaelshaw2786 Chan (ちゃん) expresses that the speaker finds a person endearing. In general, -chan is used for young children, close friends, babies, grandparents and sometimes female adolescents. It may also be used towards cute animals, lovers, or youthful women. Chan is never used for strangers or people one has just met.

Awful commentary. He thinks he is best friends with the Players in every match he commentates on. Her name is Mima Ito.
