Dear God people, do you know nothing about music??? This is an amazing song that pays homage to the story of the blues. Robert Johnson, supposedly met the devil at the Crossroads of Mississippi and sold his soul for the gift of playing the blues. That said, TM and Pretty Reckless have a hard rock g tune here .... been in constant rotation since it dropped. Great tune. ...
I'm thinking you don't know the difference. I say this as a huge fan of TPR and an admin on TM group page-- if the Stones took them to court, they would win. The percussion and chord progression are lifted, not influenced. My band actually covers both songs as a medley as we do Rock And Roll/Johnny B Goode. If you played bass, guitar or drums, it's clear as day.
I stg if Taylor sold her soul to Crowley to be a rocker Imma be so pissed. We'll know in 2019 - if she dies mysteriously she sold it, if not she's safe. -_- (guys it's a joke I promise.... mostly)
Been waitin' at these crossroads Forever and a day On a guy to buy my soul I spend all night and day How much harder can I play You know I gave my life to Rock n' Roll Here we go Momma begged me please Yes, she got down on her knees Said 'You'll burn in that Mississippi sun' But I'm the only one that's standing here So Mama don't you have no fear I'm either last or I've already won Here I go Take me down Take me down Take me down Won't you take me down Standing at the crossroads A dried up pen in hand The conversation went like this 'Tell me your desire why you pulled me from the fire And we'll seal the deal with a kiss' Said 'I wanna raise the dead Find a note that I can shred On my walls I scrawl my gods Don't care what happens when I die As long as I'm alive All I wanna do is rock, rock, rock! Take me down Take me down Take me down Won't you take me down Sign with the devil, sign with the devil, sign with the devil Sign with the devil, sign with the devil, sign with the devil Sign with the devil, sign with the devil, sign with the devil Sign with the devil, sign with the devil, sign with the devil Take me down Take me down Take me down Won't you take me down Take me down Take me down Take me down Won't you take me down
I've offered my soul to the glorious Star of Morning more times than I can count. He doesn't always provide me with what I need but he infuses me with the divine will to obtain it myself and crush whatever stands in my way.
exactly what i heard when i first heard it..I double checked the title of the song to make sure i wasn't hearing a cover lol but i really like it...its a nice different sound for them
it is not the vereses... it is the tone....she mimics Jaggers tone... lyrics are different...and different meaning...and melody different.... where is .."let me please introduce myself"

I'm so glad Taylor and the gang are back I missed them so much.
This song makes me think of my younger days when I played in bands, always on the road. I ate, slept and breathed it lol.
this reminds me so much of supernatural :D
same 😅😁
Yep, seal with a kiss is Supernatural all the way.
same lol
Supernatural actually references exactly the same thing.
Remember the Crossroads Demon?
Yeah lol I'm actually wearing a supernatural shirt right now omg
I love this woman's voice!!!
Those who are saying this is a rip off of The Rolling Stones clearly don't know the difference of ripping off and being influenced.
Yeah man, your comment should be popped at the top there

Taylor Momsen... Isn't she the chick from "The Grinch"?
Krysten55 Yup

I love the new song
I thought Halestorm was the only female who sang on The Bear :O
i watched some episodes of Gossip Girl and after them i had to listen to the pretty reckless lol
lyrics are a little slow, as well as some messed up. other than that, great vid
LOVE IT
NICE
I keep thinking this is "Who Do You Love?" by George Thorogood every time this starts.
Taylor really reminds me of chris cornell with the way she sings. Don't know why.
Europe or World tour with Ghost BC please
I liked it when it was called “symphony for the devil”!
Been waitin' at these crossroads
Forever and a day
On a guy to buy my soul
I spend all night and day
How much harder can I play
You know I gave my life to Rock n' Roll
Here we go
Momma begged me please
Yes, she got down on her knees
Said 'You'll burn in that Mississippi sun'
But I'm the only one that's standing here
So Mama don't you have no fear
I'm either last or I've already won
Here I go
Take me down
Take me down
Take me down
Won't you take me down
Standing at the crossroads
A dried up pen in hand
The conversation went like this
'Tell me your desire why you pulled me from the fire
And we'll seal the deal with a kiss'
Said 'I wanna raise the dead
Find a note that I can shred
On my walls I scrawl my gods
Don't care what happens when I die
As long as I'm alive
All I wanna do is rock, rock, rock!
Take me down
Take me down
Take me down
Won't you take me down
Sign with the devil, sign with the devil, sign with the devil
Sign with the devil, sign with the devil, sign with the devil
Sign with the devil, sign with the devil, sign with the devil
Sign with the devil, sign with the devil, sign with the devil
Take me down
Take me down
Take me down
Won't you take me down
Take me down
Take me down
Take me down
Won't you take me down
No offense intended here, but what's the point on putting the lyrics in the comments of a lyric video?
@@Acetheauthor Some people can't read as fast when it's moving on the screen.

Sympathy for the Devil much???
not what the song is about at all. its about her selling her soul not having sympathy
+bookfreak75 its about a blues Legend who actually sold his soul at crossroads.
same thing, her soul or someone elses its about selling a soul
not lickely
listen close.....no sympathy
Sounds like Beetlejuice at the end
