@@amn_1ohtrix989 it's crazy how every album is like a complete different genre. debut was the closest to country while speak now and fearless was somewhat country pop (?) red was like pop-rock/ indie pop, 1989 and lover were both pop, reputation was electropop with lots of hints of r&b while folklore and evermore were both alternative pop with subtle hints of folk/ indie music. amazing if you ask me.
Currently we have 'Folklore' right now, but for me Speak Now is her best album, though every album is beautiful and magnificent. Every song in this album are fascinating and meaningful. This is the trademark album of Taylor Swift as a country singer. She transcended the country music scene through her narrative style of music and songwriting skills which is second to none, it captures the heart of every generation and continue to lived, up through this moment. Like she said on this lyrics "Do you believe it? We're gonna make it now and I can see it, i can see it now".

I just don't like the new direction of her latest album, for many lyrical, stylistic and subject matter related reasons. My point is that whether or not she changed for the better is open to personal taste and interpretation. And that's okay, you don't have to like everything an artist puts out.

The reason why she sang so much better when she still sang country, was because she didn't exactly waste her energy on stage. From what I've seen, pop music makes her a little out of breath, since she does waste a lot of energy on stage. While in country, well, look at this. She didn't do much, but it was what you call beauty.
I do miss the old Taylor, but that doesn't mean I still don't love her. #Swiftie4life
On the 1989 tour, she was out of breath a lot of the time and very worn out after shows not because she was performing pop music, but because she was starving herself to stay skinny to fit into the tiny little crop tops she wore on stage every night. On the reputation stadium tour, she's a lot less out of breath because she's taking care of herself and is more of a healthy weight now. Hope this helped!

This song has a special place in my heart. I was born and brought up in a Catholic family in Texas and my boyfriend was born and brought up in a strict Hindu family back in India. He moved to the states for college. We met in class and instantly fell for each other. The difference in our races created many obstacles for us. Even our parents stood between us because of the religious differences.
