RD Burman used to create magic with sound ... not only with traditional instruments but also with very unusual things like cycle tyre's iron spikes, cycle bell, glass-and-stick ... for few examples.
Reso Reso is an African instrument which is also used in Latin America.
There is a song, चोरी चोरी चुपके चुपके तेरे मेरे बिन कमरे में और कौन है (फ़िल्म : बुलेट, किशोर-आशा ), where RD Burman has beautifully used Reso Reso.
