But when the feelings wither away, they turn into grief, sadness and hurt. It’s not easy to handle feelings as it may turn disastrous later onwards. However, with time and experience, we can get better at it which allows us to connect with others way more effectively. It's not others but ourselves. Let not others' behaviour and actions irritate you affect you. Because no one can not hurt you internally.

Sister Shivani, will you please explain how to not beat yourself, hurt yourself and be kind to yourself instead? I feel constant guilt for being a bit more fortunate than so many others. I tend to tense up my body intentionally/unintentionally as to belittle and hurt myself. It causes me tremendous physical pain, emotional pain, anxiety and depression. I want to get rid of these feelings and instead be helpful and resourceful to others. Please help/advise, thank you so much! 🙏. If someone else out there has advise for me, I am open to it 🙏
i did this too sometimes. i started meditating on self love and self compassion. 15 min a day with written affirmations “i am abundant, i am deserving of everything and more, i am fortunate to bless others” etc. then you detach from your karmas and the ego stops associating itself with fortune or lack. soul comes to the front and ego takes backseat. daily practice.

You don't consume that damages you nor allow damaging and negative people - who have negative assumptions about you, who spread only negativity about you without any concrete evidence... Who claim that they are right and you are wrong and who use your and their social network just to manipulate and torture you by their negative thoughts steamed from their negative assumptions, imagination, presupposition about you.
