    This delivery will go down in history as (if not your best) one of the most profound defense of a Ghanaian patriot in honor of Osagyefo Dr. Kwame Nkrumah. You have spoken well. Journalism at its best❤

    I wept when I heard Napo's comment on "our Osagyefo Dr Kwame Nkrumah". The NPP as a party had done everything possible to change the history of this country but it has and will never work. Thanks for reasonable, sensible thought, which is full of TRUTH and WISDOM, ingredient missing in tody's conversation. God blessed you, Sir.

    Kwame Nkrumah' s legacy in Guniea alone is bigger than Busia, Danquah and Dombo's legacy combined in Ghana. Nkrumah has statues and universities named after him all over Africa.
    Even his core enemy when he was alive (the west) cannot deny the greatness of his legacy, the BBC the core of British media voted the Osagyefo as the African of the last millennium. Do even know the meaning of the word Osagyefo, if you dont ask you grandpa why and how he got the name.
    Most people dont know but during Nkrumah's time there was no such thing as unemployment, Ghana even imported labour from other African countries, this labour Busia brutally sacked when he came to power, Busia also declared support for South Africa's white apartheid government, set out to destroy everything Nkrumah did in order to destroy his legacy without even considering the fact that he was destroying the country in the process and that is why he was removed from power after barely two years
    There is a fine line between political talks and foolishness.

    Guy, Am listening from afar and got touched by what I call your edifying sermon. Am not Ghanaian but do travel and follow Africa a lot. I listened years ago to your president who traveled all over touting how fantastic and welcoming Ghana was for those wishing to settle or visit. I even thought the guy was a true pan africanist, but regretted ever reposing the minutest semblance of trust in a phoney, fraudulent imposter who indulged in mindless self embellishing to place himself on the same pedestal as real pan africanists. A pathetic stooge who has driven his country into junk status and thus a bottomless pit of bankruptcy by unhinged impunity of corruption, nepotism, cronyism, disregard for rule of law and a penchant to even murder for political gain is his creed. My fellow westerners who attempted to make Ghana their home came packing and left in disappointment for all of above reasons and more. It becomes even more bizarre for a president to look the poor folks in the face and tell them he does them favors although they did not vote for him......that is the most cringeworthy, foolish, insensitive and disrespectful hogwash a leader will say to the suffering, impoverished and hopeless citizens crying for just a little to move them out of a state of despondency. This is the most senseless government I have seen on your continent.....a government that is neither pragmatic, visionary nor productive but find pleasure in mindless borrowing just to loot and leave Ghanaians in such despicable state of quandary. Quite sad. Above all, I treasure your blunt take and wish Ghanaians will vote wisely to edge out this tribal cancer in your politics. Amen!

    They misgovern and when elections draw near they come around to attempt to gaslight the people. If Napo isn't arrogant we have all witnessed his humility. Is this the best npp has to offer Ghanaians? 😅 Bawumia has dimed his last hope of success in selecting this prideful peacock. And I use the term only figuratively.

  • @AfricaLately
    @AfricaLately หลายเดือนก่อน +1

    Brilliant take, bro. 😂 In the spirit of literary analogies, let me add my own. I tell friends that the NPP's posturing is akin to the ill-fated tale of Ola Rotimi's Odewale in The gods are not to blame, which itself is an adaptation of the Greek classic Oedipus Rex. Word has gone forth against them, so even their best actions work against them. I said they're literally shooting themselves in the foot, and a friend quipped: they don't even have a foot.

    Who is Frederick EMS Hodgson to the Asantes, enemy or friend and how do we compare Frederick Hodgson to Dr.Nkrumah, do you hate Nkrumah more than Frederick Hodgson? Let us learn to value what we have for if you want to know how Ghana would have been ruled before the independence, look at the NPP after Mr kuffour, who learned from Nkrumah through his brother- in -law by so doing introduced reconciliation to bring peace.For this reason let us try betterfly if you would not.
